True, I have long arms, and I am tall and slim in fact women put me into troubles.
At least my body is perfect for my 208.

What I really like about the 348 is that it is impossible for any old lady or kids to think it is a Toyota! This happened to a friend of mine in his brand new Aston Martin at a Costo fuel pump. Ouch!

You are correct---never did figure why the Italians raked back the steering wheel when all other cars were "normal."

I had a 308 GTS for about five minutes. Really couldn't stand it. So primitive and underpowered, not to mention it felt like a dump truck in parking lots. What is up with that? I had an X1/9 with unassisted rack and pinion steering and it felt like it weighed nothing. I was hoping the 308 would be an X1/9 for adults. Not even close. If I found a perfect '74 X1/9, I WOULD BUY IT!

Anyway, got a yellow 2000 360 sunroof/stick. Out of the three Ferraris I've had, far and away the most beautiful, and it is very civilized. Steering is light and precise, and all 6'2" of me fits perfectly (long legs/short torso). Of course, the 456M was super comfy (and better looking than most of the 3x8 cars). I did a 900 mile day in it a time or two. The stock exhaust is junk, though. Complete garbage. I have the valved Stradale exhaust with the Fabspeed headers. All the naughty gurgles and pops and that five-valve banshee scream.

Nobody's 355 sounds better than my car.

It was in sad shape, so I spent a fortune restoring. One of only 2 yellow sunroof/stick 360's in North America.

I can't really relate to people who don't love the 360. They're missing something. :)

I don't know if anyone can completely dislike the 360 Modena. Probably many just prefer other cars to it.
Personally I love it and would like to have one in my garage, even if it is not my all time favorite.
One reason? Rational or not, unfortunately the 360 does not belong to the Enzo era.
Was it made in the Enzo era, there were chances that I had one instead of my earlier models.
    Does it sound as nonsense?
Sure it does, but... as most things in life. :D
    Otherwise life was boring.

Just one thing: your comments are quite interesting and your car is gorgeous, but with all the many people owning 308s - I'm soon going to get a second car of its same family, none being exactly 308s - I suggest you to be less sharp talking of a Ferrari car that still made history and that many still love.
But it's up to you, of course.

    All the best, take car.

If you’re looking to sell that Elise very soon (1-2 weeks), my buddy would be very interested. He’s looking to buy an Elise in CA.

My advice: Immediately disown anyone who makes that mistake! :) Not everybody is a car person, of course, but there are limits on what can be viewed as acceptable. :):)

Hoovie has said many times, out of the hundreds of cars he's own (including 2 F355s) - his ratty 348 was and still is his all time favorite.

Now, he did sell it, and kept his second F355 - so it could be just some self-branding on his part.

It's the truth; ask 10 random folks what car is prettier, and 9 out of 10 would say the 355. The Mondial doesn't flutter the heart of most folks. The Mondial is the Bette Davis of Ferrari; most folks would say she isn't a beauty, but those that do - *really* do. For the younger among us - think Zendaya - ugly or pretty, depending on who you ask. For ladies, think Adam Driver, Pedro Pascal. They move some folk's rocks, for most others - wouldn't give a second glance.

No right or wrong, entirely subjective, that's the true beauty of having choices.

That is and always be the 'real' secret of the Mondial - how well it drives. (sans 8 which lets not lie, is too low on power.) - Folks that read regurgitated articles about the 8 and apply it to the other 4 models miss out.

Scud is and will be one of the most exhilarating Ferrari ever. Agreed.

Can't think of a better track car. Fast, relatively cheap, and fun as hell!

348 TS. With basic mods (360 wheels, ecu tune, exhaust), it’s beyond incredible. Open top… manual transmission… manual rack and pinion steering…. No traction control…..

In my opinion, it’s the most under appreciated Ferrari.

It is incredible how the 348 is still splitting and probably will split people forever!
It would be interesting to make justice with a thread where only owners and former owners can talk!
    Yeah, let me start it!
