Thank you very much
I’m seeing “Contains up to 10% Ethanol” at all the pumps including Shell. Anybody know a station that is still providing Ethanol free?
Thanks for the response. Very frustrating. There are a lot of cars that were not made to run on Ethanol.
Ethanol is poison for older boat engines and outboard motors as well. Our marina sells ethanol-free gas, but only in premium. Marina fuel has always been very expensive, but even more so now with the premium price tag. Out of curiosity, I'm going into the marina today and see if ethanol-free premium is still available.
Ethanol-free premium is still available at the marina. You might have to look harder at the regular pumps for the same.
Thanks. I’m thinking if Shell does not have it then nobody will have it. I will check out the Marina. Thank you.
OK stumbled across this place yesterday. Fill-Up Fuels in Port Perry. Their standard 91 at the pump is ethanol free (at the moment said the guy doing the pumping). However, there is a dedicated pump beside the main pumps for even higher octane and racing fuels. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I believe he has taken some time off due to back surgery if I'm not mistaken. I think he may be retiring from the trade. Can't say I blame him either.
Hello does anyone know how to get a hold of mechanic Leonardo Guinci that use to work at Daytona motorsports? Thanks,
Speaking of Daytona - Still looking for an honest & experienced garage. I used Daytona once when I first got my car. They seemed honest enough, but I've been hearing a lot of negative feedback from other owners. Anyone have a reliable yet very reasonable garage around the GTA that can confidently work on a 360? Sam's Garage in Markham is right around the corner, but I don't see enough modern Ferrari's there to trust them (lots of older cars, like Roc's garage). I don't have 'Ferrari of Ontario' spending money. Pfaff was suggested, but aren't they more experienced in everything but Italian cars?
Clarkson Fine Cars does lots and lots of them, along with manual conversions. The full major on my 550M was done there last summer, as well as the major on my gated 360.
Thank you Matt..I appreciate the shout out. Unfortunately I have 13 Ferrari's at the shop currently and 4 lambos..plus 1 lambo SuperLaggera in for a manual conversion. We are booking late August earlier September..
ForzaYYZ ... , Val (PFAFF) has been a Ferrari mechanic for over 7 years and knows his sh$! inside and out, He's currently completely rebuilding a 328 from the ground up and I absolutely trust Val with my 360. Cheers Steve
+1 for Val, I take my Testarossa to him exclusively, including the engine out major service. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I just received word that Massimo is now at Engineered AutoMotive. To all his loyal customers, reach out to him. I'm sure he would love to hear from you. Hope this helps out..
I think so. I have never actually visited the place. They used to put on a really good cars and coffee a number of years ago.
Thanks Tom.I have a F430 manual I bought 10 years ago.He was looking after it at Daytona. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for the phone call yesterday. I just heard the news that Engineered Automotive is closed, while they look for a new location. If anybody needs help with anything, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
