I have a 4 post challenger lift. American made with the 240v. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Here are the Race Ramps I got off Amazon… For the HD-9 Bendpak, the height is perfect https://a.co/d/gyu1fBH Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I just bought these for my 4 post lift too. Took the steel ramps to the dump the very same day. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Have used the Triumph NSS8 for exotic cars for years and super happy with it. No problems, easy to use and tracks wide enough for exotics. Initially bought it for an Aventador, now have a Ferrari F12 on it. It becomes a bit of a project to take the car in and out, and unfortunately becomes a bit like a storage solution... Made a short video of it as well in case of interest -
What are you using for your ramps? It looks like you got a regular Race Ramp, and a second attached folding ramp? I looked into the Challenger lift vs the Bendpak, and Race Ramps make a lift ramp that will fit the Bendpak, but the Challenger has a taller platform height.
I just had my garage floor refinished and had a Wildfire Exotic lift installed. It’s great that I can get all vehicles into the garage—especially in winter—but the weather also means I haven’t had an occasion to use the lift and get the upper car out. Thought about Race Ramps because the ramps that came with the lift still require me to use the front suspension lift of the Huracan. It would scrape if I just drove it on or off the lift without using the front suspension lift. Unfortunately, Race Ramps doesn’t make lift ramps that are longer than 4 feet, which is the same length as the ones that came with the lift. They do make longer ramps that are 4 degrees, but they don’t attach to the car lift. Anyone have any suggestions? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have two of the Wildfire lifts and they work great. Easy to install as well. Yes, the ramps that come with it are very heavy and not ideal to handle. I bought the race ramps and they work perfectly. No, they don’t slip into the frame supports like the Wildfire ones but they do offer a design that has a 3” extended lip that butts right up to the Wildfire platform. The lip extends over the locking bars and touches the platform. It doesn’t move either when driving on/off the lift. https://www.raceramps.com/ramps/rack/p/rr-rack-5/ Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks, but I don’t think this option will work for me because it’s 8 degrees. I need something with a lower angle than what 4’ ramps provide, ie ramps longer than 4’
Race ramps does make extensions that lay on top of some of their other ramps. Also their trailer ramp extensions are much longer than 4 feet but don't have the lip over.
My garage floor has a little slope. Ceiling height away from the garage door is 10.64’. At the end with the garage door, it’s 10.94’. My garage door track is as close to the ceiling as they could get. I can stack the Huracan and the Bentayga, but I can’t stack the Lusso and the Bentayga Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks, I saw those. My only concern would be them moving without the lip that attaches to the lift, but I might give them a try
They are pretty grippy since they have to work on a smooth floor with nothing to keep them from moving, but if it did manage to move it could be expensive. Maybe put a couple lag bolts in the sides to strap them to the lift?
Looks like most the lifts listed are for storage purpose, but for general maintenance I have a quickjack and it works great.
I’m going to contact Race Ramps and check the length. The illustration on their website might show that the length is 47.5” not including the hook nose. If that’s the case, they would be slightly longer than the ramps that came with my lift (slightly over 47” including the hook nose). There would only be a slight difference in the angle of approach, but combined with the lighter weight, I would choose the Race Ramps. With the models that don’t have the hook nose, there would be a gap between the end of the Race Ramps and the lift platform, as the locking bars are there. The hook noses cover them, but they’d be unprotected with other types of ramps
I used the lowest profile race ramps for trailers with my 4-post lift. They’re about 5’ long and 4.7deg approach I think. RR-TR-5. I cut a piece of 2x4 the width of the ramp and use it to fill the cutout where the trailer door normally rests. Just butt them up to the lift runways and drive up or down.
I called Race Ramps, and they said the 5" H Hook Nose Extra Wide Rack Ramp - 6.4 Degree Approach Angle (ITEM #RR-RACK-HN20-5) length is 47.5” without including the hook nose. So, the approach angle is no worse than the ramps that came with my lift, and maybe slightly better. I ordered them and will post again after I’ve received them.
I have a Challenger lift and use the included aluminum ramp along with the race ramp (for trailer style) to get a more gradual ramp angle
