    I have never had to use my hand, about 3 months ago I tried to put top back and it got stuck, so I just put it back closed without time to mess with it. The prior 3 years I never had an issue.

    I think you are overthinking this. There may be nothing wrong with hydraulics or electronics, that's why James is so good at what he does. Free advice one little tip to keep an eye on the bow when going back vs. amateur mechanic chasing electronics and hydraulics, probably not even fixing anything, but costing money. The experience of great techs like James is priceless.

    My guess root cause simply hasn't been used in awhile and maybe the colder temps we have. I might have done something wrong as I always "help" it as instructed when it first goes back. However, my help was from the leading edge and now I know to watch the bow.

    I will keep thread updated, I will use it more and we'll see if any more problems.

    It needed the elastic bands replaced. That is what applying a little bit of pressure is emulating.
