296 GTS production

I just got a 3rd pic as well! The 1st pic arrived 2 months after I took delivery and still no 2nd pic.

 

Odd…

I got my first and second pictures 3 months ago and yet to see the third. Car is showing on water since November.

Seems lately everything is messed up in the app and web. Got the 3rd pic of my GTS in October followed by the 2nd painted shell pic of my GTB a few weeks later in November, yet the GTB arrived at port earlier this week and the GTS is arriving to port in a few weeks??

It also listed that I sold my 812 GTS which is still in my possession??

 

I just ordered a new 296 GTS. I‘ve got two options. Either a late 2024 car or an early 2025. What would you choose?
I have no intention to drive it during winter.

I‘d be grateful for any comments / suggestions.

I think you answered your own question, get the 2025 car…given how new the hybrid technology is for Ferrari I’m sure there will be an ongoing process of finding and fixing bugs, installing new versions of software etc etc so why have a “older version” of the car just sitting over winter depreciating?

 

I‘m mostly worried about a price increase, when I think about the 2025 model. Otherwise, I agree to go for a 2025 model.

 

All options just increased by 3% in the US... so, that's a valid concern.

 

for sure sooner is better. Assume there will be a price hike.

 

My VIN just popped up on my app so I assume I'm 10R.

For the guys that are ahead of me, how long did it approximately take till you got your first primer pic and then how much longer from there till you got the finished car pic?

Got a VIN in mid December. No photos yet or any other information.

 

Hmm, well that's not good.

Has your dealer told you what build status you're in?
Hopefully your car is moving a long and they're just being lazy with the pic uploads.
Fwiw I got the 812 GTS delivered mid August of last year and I still don't have the final pic yet.

 

Been 10R since mid December. That's the extent of information I've received. I did order the Tri-Coat paint, so that may be delaying the process.

 

Got first 2 pictures in October, Was on the water on November. Car has vanished. Dealer has no idea where or when it will arrive. MODIS still shows on the water. No third picture.

 

Tailor Made order, December 6th final design, still no VIN.

 

My VIN showed up this week, so they are trickling in for sure.

 

Jeez, maybe the RORO boat capsized and your car sleeps with the fishes.

 

Odd but I am dealing with something similar with Porsche.

 

car has arrived ad delivered today. Still no 3rd picture.

 

I had the same issue and when dealer inquired on my behalf, FNA replied that there was a technical glitch and so many cars were never photographed at the completion stage.

 

2025 unless 2025 has a price increase over the 2024 model.

I received my first photo 6 weeks after 10R, then received the other two photos within the next 8 days. two weeks after my third photo, it's on the water at 90. It's kind crazy!

 

Can I ask how long it took you to get to 10R? My GTS was on this month’s order call. Still waiting for a VIN to pop up on the app.

 

Deposit on 4/21/2022, 10R around middle of 12/2023.
