    HGTE was an option package so the same VIN pattern as vanilla 599s, just like the HGTx Ferraris (575, 612) that preceded the 599. Best way to tell yes or no is to get a build sheet off MODIS from a Ferrari dealer.

    Thank you Taz....could see how a vin w/o further identifying "marker" would be impossible to differentiate to a "dealer-added" vs "Factory" HGTE for 2010/2011 cars.
