Will the GTS be a softop like the Roma spyder?

 

I noticed those flaps in every prototype; I'm wondering if they will make it in the final product, or if they're part of the camouflage:

This video from @Acriore shows some of the interior at around the 10:23 mark. Is it the same digital display as in the SF90? Seems like a similar interior to the Daytona SP3.

In all honesty if they are going golfing hardtop like the GTS I would hope beyond hope they would make a targa version- it saves the trunk space and makes the interior less claustrophobic and saves weight!

So aside from an updated exterior and interior what else could we be getting? I doubt there will be much more of a power upgrade. I'm trying to decide if it's worth the upgrade if that's what it is. I've also been told these may truly be limited and not many available.

 

A page out of the Chrysler parts bin play book. Going to be a $700k usd car with lots of carbon and special paint and you get a $5 dash.

 

It would not surprise me if its not long before Ferrari start selling more trucks than sportscars, just like what Porsche and Lamborghini did. Sad times.

 

Supposedly, they found an extra 30hp from the 812 Competizione's software that won't break the worlds emmission standards. Like many, I DO think this will be the last natural V12 from Ferrari to do this. As far as interior/exterior stuff we'll see when she's out from under the sheets.

Is everyone so sure GTS will be a hardtop? I am hearing soft top like Roma

 

People that have seen it said its hard top, I'm curious where you are hearing soft top? From others that's just speculating? Blogs? Social media?

 

We all know full well it’s not a soft top. Some people only check this thread once in a while

The GTS has barely adequate boot space whereas the SF has plenty- perfect for a weekend getaway with the spouse and a decent amount of luggage. The GTS has enough if you pack a sparser amount- less of what a GT should have. The GTS also allows for less recline of the seat which for me was way more uncomfortable for long trips and ultimately my reason for selling it- otherwise it is the perfect “hyper”GT convertible.

812 replacement- 840hp natural V12 (due to updated Competizione software), will be the best handling front-mounted V12 Ferrari. Slightly updated Getrag 7DCL750 transmission software.

Spyder/Convertible- Will be hardtop like the 812GTS. The big air pocket/bubble you see in spy shots is to throw you off into wondering if it will be softtop like the Roma.

Assuming you are talking now about PS figures, is your guess now 860 PS or 840 PS?

Where did you get the info that it would use the old 7-speed gearbox?
