    Hey Joe, not 57223... my other 288 GTO where the mileage makes no difference...it's relatively high around 13k, so it's not going to make a difference putting a couple of thousand on her...are you going ?

    I'm not going, too busy in the western hemisphere, 13k miles isn't high, it's perfect, what chassis number is the other 288 GTO?

    These photos are dated March 11, 1984, exactly 40 years old today.

    I took these photos during the 1984 Geneva Motor Show marked by the presentation of the 288 GTO.

    These are 50255 presented on the Ferrari stand (yellow carpet) and 50253 on the Pininfarina stand (turntable).

    I almost didn't go to Geneva, because a snowstorm the previous Sunday (March 4) had blocked the France/Switzerland passage via the Berthiand pass, the A40 motorway (the titans) did not yet exist. Fortunately, a week later, spring had arrived, the trip was possible and the presentation of the 288 remains a great moment in my life.
