Some photo shots from above of some of the swimmers that competed in the 24km swim from Safety Beach to Sorrento pier on Saturday, most swimmers doing it in a relay of 4km each or team of 4 7km with a few doing it solo.

One of the ladies in her 40s that I swim with every day did it solo (7 hours ) so much admiration for this athlete, trains every day, and swims 7/8 km every day!

Its the bay all comes back to the time you are in the water in or outgoing tide,cross winds and wind speed and of course wave height ..
