Maybe I’m just being a fanboy but I’m struggling to justify a road going sports car at $250k that is better than the Z06 (let alone ZR1).
Sure there are new and used cars at that range that have some appeal (458, GT3, Huracan, Mclaren) but are they better than a Z06? Not convinced.

yes there are alternatives but none that offer the combo of price, performance, everyday usability, along with an open top.

What about a 992 TTS? If you want open top, then a TTS Cab?

Just throwing it out there, as I do think the C8 Z06 is on top of the QPR leaderboard.

tts cab is good one for street but cant track that in stock form due to cabriolet top so not as useful to typical enthusiasts who would track at least few times/yr. 458 spider is closest one but getting risky at 10-15 yrs old without warranty

With that much power/torque coming from turbo engine I don’t think it has the emotion of the flat plane NA vette motor.

For me, owning an American car at $250k feels out of sorts a little. I have always owned American muscle cars and was maybe looking at owning something else before I fade away into velcro shoes. :D I am number 2 at the dealer at MSRP so it would be difficult to pass up.

Is it just me that doesn't see many C8 Z06's around? I live in a town and see 3-4 Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and McLarens a day. I also see 3-5 C8's, but maybe only once in the last week was it a Z06.

I noticed the same thing so started calling dealers and there are some in the dealer showrooms with crazy mark ups I think once they all sell for msrp there will be plenty around.

I have had maybe 3...... 911TTS and very comfortable cruiser fast and very comfortable but not a great sound although i have not had a 992 TTS which I have heard is better...sound wise.
It is different then the ZO6
I drove 14hours from Florida two days ago in my 991 GTS which I love
The Z06 is a beast...I think i will drive it to Florida in a couple of days ....

    Yes, it is.

But in years past (not anymore), I have run with SCCA and PCA, and depending on the region, they will allow for soft tops w/o additional aftermarket equipment.

We've been in Florida since Feb 1 (the first two weeks in Palm Beach, now Orlando) and I've seen only one.

Haven't even seen many base cars either, for that matter.

There is a really nice 70th anniversary edition HTC in Hypersonic Gray driven by a resort employee here where we're staying.

Selling time shares is apparently reasonably lucrative, not to mention unconscionable.

The only one I have seen is Dryhole's. He has actually kept this one longer than most of his flips. My car partner and I are going to get to drive it soon, as we are moving down the list to order one. Still loving our C8.

@JV’s89 was that 70th anniversary a darker color, maybe Carbon Flash Metallic? The reason I ask is that the 70th anniversary Limited edition cars were only available in either that color or Pearl White Metallic.

Hypersonic Grey rocks, I love that color. Really brings out the lines of the car.

the 70th anniv labeling is confusing as all 2023 c8’s have the rear window etched 70th anniv.
same thing with the interior waterfall.

Yeah, you can pick those badges up online for 20 bucks, just like the guys who stick AMG badges on E350s. :) The limited edition package was not only limited to two choices for exterior paint, you had one selection for interior color, which is two-tone seats in white/black with red stitching. And they all have Alcantara on pretty much all interior surfaces including the dash. The only exceptions are the glove box area and the area below the steering wheel on the driver side, both of which are covered in white leather (I just went and verified on mine).

Actually, when I was looking for the longest time, I planned on getting either a Hypersonic Grey or a Red Mist, and I just couldn’t make up my mind. Meanwhile, I kept seeing photos of the anniversary edition, and for some reason that white just really caught my eye. so I ended up picking one of those up, and man that pearl just pops in person. So I tracked one down, first white car I ever bought and I love it. Although honestly the car looks great in all three of those colors, so I don’t think I’ve been unhappy in any case. :D
