You raise very fair points about police report, lying and consequences. I know this is a long shot, but you're not part of the "new" company, or involved with them, or have had conversations about getting involved, officially, are you? Half of this quagmire is cloak and dagger, and it would make sense if all the burned EAG alumni are forming that new band.

Dan says roughly 350 cars were converted by EAG since 2021. If accurate, that is quite a feat.

I think that's called the 'wisdom of the crowd.' If you ask a group of people whether Philadelphia is the capital of Pennsylvania, most will incorrectly answer yes.

That doesn't make any sense. If you ask a group of people who don't interact with Philadelphia they might get it wrong, but if you ask a group of people who are currently located in Philadelphia you will get a different answer.

I think it’s hilarious that Kent is being questioned here, as Kent was quite a strong advocate for EAG for quite a while. I saw countless times where Kent stepped in to Arts defence - the fact that now Kent has also been lied to/ripped off/cheated/(insert your word here) by Art is a real “kick in the teeth” to Kent, and given how strong Kent was advocating for Art/EAG - should be a clear sign of trouble for EAG (as if there wasn’t 1000 others). Kinda makes me sad to hear the the reason you got rid of the F430 was due to Art’s lies…. I mean, you landed on your feet with a great 458, but I know how much you loved that F430…

Hey, man. I googled that line. I don't even know the capital of my own state.

I'm no lawyer but his texts appear to be pretty incriminating, regardless of how few teeth he has left. I met Kent. He gave me a hot rod tire spinning hooligan ride in his 575 when I went down to Austin. Shocked how hard that thing pulled. (EDIT: I THINK I'M THINKING OF A DIFFERENT KENT. DIDN'T WANT TO DELETE AS THAT COULD APPEAR A LITTLE FISHY).

I am not part of the new company nor am I going to be. I am sure the new venture will be successful now that the largest problem I saw during my time at EAG is gone. In fact the tech team that he talked trash about in his video made huge improvements to the shop. I saw (as "CEO" of EAG) the product quality and output increase significantly when we got the right team in place. The rest of the team was awesome, and I have maintained friendly relationships with most of the staff. Look at his statements in the videos, anyone with any sort of basic understanding of leadership would never trash talk the guys that saved his company.

    The outcome here is obvious.

We might be talking about a different Kent? I’m referring to Kent Adam’s quote.

But - I’m with you on the 575! Awesome car!

Art said they were great techs. They simply made a “mistake.”

Art did mention something along the lines of, “if you are owed money by my investors, I will try to get it to you.”

If you are 75% owner of the company, you’re pretty much on hook for those funds, not your “investors.” What most likely happened was a $600k cash injection for equipment, inventory, etc… for 15% ownership and some legal ownership tied to equipment and inventory. That’s a one time thing unless an investor wants to inject more cash for more ownership. Any dealings outside of that is pretty much on you.

I thought he went out of his way to give them credit as techs. By trash talk you mean his comment about integrity? All he has to go on it seems is Kent's txt confirming they are in on it. Saved the company... built around a product we've all watched him develop (and market) for years. Hopefully, this thing starts to progress toward a resolution of some sort. Last I heard, Art has heard zero from his colleagues. Who is responsible for the shop's rent this month? They're all owners in the company, aren't they all liable? Don't you owe your business partner some sort of formal, professional communications, some sort of due process? Is it really legal (forget ethical) to just take action like this confiscating assets from a business you share with a business partner? I guess we'll all find out as this moves forward.

POLICE REPORTS OFTEN TAKE SEVERAL WEEKS TO POPULATE ONTO "OFFICIAL" WEBSITES.

    How do I know?

I've looked for police reports on a number of occasions and been told by the folks in charge (including officers who file the reports) that there is often a considerable lag between when a victim reports a crime to an officer/department and that getting recorded and posted.

Check back in a month, maybe 6 weeks. If there's still nothing there, then you have a better argument.

Am I the only one who believes the claim of 450 conversions is absolute fantasy? That would equal one conversion per week for 8.6 years! Given the endless stories of cars sitting for months and months on end I would be surprised if the REAL number of conversions was 50

If the participants here are a representative example it is a valid statement.
And that matters how? If I go to dinner and the food is good and the service sucks in the biggest way possible it was still a lousy dinner.

Why would there be a police report if the removed assets were part of an asset seizure as possible collateral / leverage for getting paid back loaned / invested funds? I could see the cops telling Art to talk to his attorney first then see them as it may very well be a civil, not criminal matter. Investors may not have had the right to remove said assets but you know what they say about ownership!

I have no dog in this fight but you do. You're acting out of emotion same as Art. When people act out of emotion, they often use hyperbole, assume things (like on line police reports are instantaneous etc.). Obviously you haven't been following my comments if you think I trust Art or you for that matter. You made a very bad decision to take on the CEO role and I wouldn't be surprised if you have some liability in all this as well.

Thank you Ben. I'm glad someone has a memory :) I do miss that F430 as it was "choice", but loving the 458 nonetheless. I just got nervous and fed up with the broken promises. I took a lot of heat for defending Art for a long time. The conversion was good, but there was work that wasn't completed as promised. Frankly, I don't trust anyone on either side any longer.

I saw a video of a converted 458, don't recall the shop's name. Now that is a mouth watering idea.
