Is it just me, but it is a bit difficult closing the front hood? I realize that since it is carbon fiber and lighter, on my car at least, it seems when closing the hood, the latch on the hood and receiving end on the car aren’t perfectly aligned. It takes me about a minute or so to find the right area of the hood to press down to fully close the hood. It seems that the location that I press that works is about 6 to 8 inches from the end of hood, along the center. Once it is closed it looks to fit well, but getting it fully closed doesn’t yet come naturally to me. Usually one presses down on the very end of the hood, but that does not work for me. I have to go up about 6 to 8 inches.

I have the same problem and plan on having the dealer resolve it.
In the meantime I have decided not to open it unless its an emergency.

I have to push mine down very hard as well. But I’m used to it now.

Just be careful you dont overflex the panel. I would log this with the dealer.

We have absolutely noticed this on literally every one of them we have had here. Just takes a little shove... but I agree... it is a little worrisome at times.

You might have seen on this forum last year, I mentioned the same issue, had mine adjusted by the dealer and it’s so much better now

I was shown by Harvey at Ferrari Of North America to use both hands towards the edges of the hood, NOT on the air vent. Sometimes the charger bag is not sitting perfectly flat I’d check that as well.

Different from every other model as that was putting even pressure bellow the Ferrari badge.

I'm actually facing the same challenge with my front hood! It's become a bit of a routine trying to find that precise spot for a smooth closure. Honestly, I was going to reach out to the dealer about it.

If you've already contacted them or found a solution, I'd love to hear how it went. Thinking about getting it sorted out myself because, like you, I'm getting a bit tired of the extra effort.

Give my my strategy a try. It has saved a lot of frustration and hood slamming at our dealership!

I went to dealer last Saturday. Sales advisor showed me how to press on the raised inner corners of the front of the hood. Reason being that this is the strongest structural area. But my hood is a bit out of alignment and dealer will take care of this when I bring the car in for service. Because of weather, I wasn’t driving SF90 when I went to the dealer.
