Congrats brother, got my first one at 36 and still have it a couple years later. You're going to catch the bug and want a 458 now...

There are many good topics on Ferrarichat which discuss the California. It's helpful to read through them to get an idea of the issues to watch for with this model. Hopefully you had a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) done which would give you a sense of confidence in the one you chose. I keep mine on a battery tender when the car is in the garage and that's helped tremendously. These cars are highly battery dependent and a newer/charged battery is important.

Agree that keeping the car on the battery charger when not used is very important for cars not used every day, or not driven more than 10 miles a day.

    Dear Ferrari Enthusiasts,

Thank you all for the invaluable advice and warm welcome extended to me as I begin my journey with my Rosso Corsa Ferrari California. Your insights have been incredibly helpful, and I'm already implementing the suggestion to keep my car on trickle charge when not in use.

As I continue to prepare for the care and maintenance of my Ferrari, I'm curious if any of you have encountered issues with carbon buildup, and if so, what solutions have you found effective in addressing it? Any tips or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated as I strive to keep my California in peak condition.

Thank you once again for your guidance and support. I look forward to learning from your expertise and enjoying many memorable drives in my beloved Ferrari.

    Warm regards,

    Joseph
