I hope you’re more than “not unhappy” it looks like a good understated spec that works well! I didn’t take my allocation but I can see why it ticks the boxes for many.

I stopped by the local dealer where I am at the moment and they had the PS in tdf blu without the exterior carbon fibre trim, and I have to say for me it looks better this way. Still waiting to see it with gloss black trim to decide what’s best…

Rosario Scelsi is a respected Italian automotive journalist with a deep knowledge of all Ferrari models and the brand's history. It's a shame that his articles don't appear translated from Italian to English and that's why in thread 812 Replacement I put in post #6798 the English translation of one of his brilliant articles about the Ferraris designed by Flavio Manzoni (Ferrari design center) and by the Pininfarina house. I recommend reading it.
As there hasn't been much news about the Purosangue lately, I leave you here with the article that Rosario Scelsi wrote about the FUV shortly after its launch.

On a stylistic level, Maranello's new work is impeccable in its execution.

The Ferrari Purosangue, like it or not, made its debut in society, introducing a breakthrough vehicle in the Maranello company's price list. This is the first four-door car from the "prancing horse" (Pinin is irrelevant). This car, with its unusual architecture, writes a new category and creates a new standard in the international automotive panorama. Even if it comes close to the concept of an SUV, it is something fundamentally different.

Here the engine is arranged in a rearward front position, with gearbox at the rear, according to the transaxle layout. A completely different layout from that of Crossovers and Sport Utility Vehicles. The reflections can be seen in the look and dynamic aspects, much more intoxicating than those of other cars high off the ground. Thanks to the choices made by the Maranello technicians, the objective of giving the vehicle a pleasant ride, dynamic efficiency and an ability to excite in line with tradition was achieved, so as not to betray the habits of customers and enthusiasts of the brand name.

The weight distribution is worthy of mid-front engined sports cars, with 49% of the loads at the front and 51% at the rear. Of course, such a vertically extended vehicle clearly breaks away from the tradition of the "prancing horse", linked to supercars and grand tourers of a very different nature, but in its context it expresses a strong charge of class and dynamism. The Ferrari Purosangue is not the "red" to which we were accustomed and has a different identity from the Emilian works that wrote the legend, but its shapes are still impeccable and engaging, even if expressed in a different register and in some ways blasphemous.

    Ferrari Purosangue: impeccable lines

Flavio Manzoni, in drawing his features, best expressed his creative flair. The challenge was truly difficult, but the Sardinian designer was able to create sculptural lines and volumes, marked by a strong dynamism, which intercepts the consensus of the eyes. Everything flows extremely naturally, in a framework of muscular tensions that convey the sense of action, from any observation perspective. No detail is out of place, because harmony is its expressive feature. The bodywork is athletic and streamlined, one of a kind. It communicates its agile and high-performance nature from the first glance.

The body of the Ferrari Purosangue, developed by subtracting volumes, is broken down into two levels; a lower one represented by the underbody, more technical, and a sinuous and powerful upper one. This division is emphasized by the floating effect of the upper volume, which seems almost suspended on the wheel arches. Despite its height from the ground and generous dimensions, it conveys a sense of lightness. His features are bold and passionate. In addition to being beautiful, they have great aerodynamic value.

The powerfully shaped rear fenders are very intriguing. The side profile of the car is splendid, but the rest is also at the top of the category. At the front there are references to the SF90, Roma and J50, while at the rear the 296-style light clusters stand out. Elements that create reassuring connections with cars better linked to the brand's tradition.

    High-level comfort and racing energy

Undoubtedly the Ferrari Purosangue is a beautiful car, but that "prancing horse" on the bonnet still seems like a stretch, even if the genetic apparatus is the right one. Its clean lines create a sporty look, but do not sacrifice interior space. In the passenger compartment you can perceive a modern and engaging language, under the notes of luxury and sportiness.

There is considerable space available to passengers, who access the vehicle through the four doors, with those behind opening against the wind. To make the most of the living space, all the shapes have been designed to guarantee minimal dimensions. The ergonomic study was particularly careful, because on a car like the Ferrari Purosangue it takes on primary importance. In front of the front passenger there is a large 10.2-inch display.

The ideal heir to the GTC4 Lusso, this "red" is powered by a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine, with 725 horsepower. The performances are reference in its category: sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 10.6 seconds, over 310 km/h top speed. Thrilling numbers, seasoned with goosebumps sound and an amazing design.

Received notification that my build is at 30 status! So, the process is underway. Excited to have my car for the upcoming summer! Originally, I didn’t think it would arrive until late fall/early winter.

Looks more like the car was doing the factory check drive.... Hence the comment about the delay... Also landscape looks a lot like Italy and the blue thing up front looks like the protective film

I drove one on damp roads and initially the tires were cold. It was a test drive. The car lacked traction and was slipping all over the place, my wife was so scared. I would not believe the lack of traction for a 4x4 car. The FF and Lusso had no such problems, they stuck to the road. Was surprised all the test drivers said it had such a great suspension system and it found it difficult to put the power down , only felt connected in sport mode, others we wooly. Very surprised . You are correct, think there will be a lot of crashes
