Thank you for that information on how Mr. Salvatore Lepore made this rendering. I forgive him for the lack of quality of the rendering and also the lack of imagination in having copied so many deja vue details from previous Ferrari models. I just don't forgive him for using as a base not a Ferrari but an Aston DBS
Totally wrong, except the yellow badge on the front and yes, the new car will have four wheels, that's for sure. Marcel Massini
AI apparently expecting this car to have tricky handling, what with it looking like it slid sideways into a tree!!
Maybe this is a little closer to the final product... Long bonnet and a short muscular back. Continuous rising line. Small rear window. Distinctive diffuser with centrally positioned air nozzle. Not sure about the nolder: Subtle or more pronounced? The difference in my drawings is the attachment of the rear bumper to the wheel lip (yellow arrows). Progressive at the top, more classic at the bottom. Small change, big different effect. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The first pictures shows a profile view of the recent spotted F167 mule, whose body is covered with panels of various dimensions and shapes that make it almost impossible to guess what is underneath. On this side view of the mule I can count 6 different camouflage elements, all of them secured to the body with round fasteners. Very nice!! Love the clean, slab-side design. Hope that’s the case instead of the now tired tuck-under and protruding skirt.
That AI rendering is beautiful. Would the side profile be better than the AI? Have you seen the car? Inknow day355 has. I’m just getting impatient…lol
Hey, I have no issues at all with the Ai image. I had a play a month back with it and Ai. The Ai has made a great car design. I am just saying that is not what the F167 will look like. Ohno and others drawing are a lot more on point for the design of the F167
Everyone seems to like the AI design but I just see a development of 812 in it - logical for AI. Nice at the front but door treatment doesn’t flow well. Therefore I don’t believe it will be close since day355 doesn’t like the 812 and suggests F167 is a clean sheet design.
I expect a very very clean design, not too round, but rather sharp, typical of the 70s. This not only for the 167 but for all the next models: F250, F173M. I think the cabin is too far back and the tail is too short. Usually all bumpers have a diagonal cut with a slope. The only one that does not present this solution is the Daytona SP3 which however does not actually have a classic bumper, but this is not the case with the 167. I really think the rear lights are visible in the side view. Just like what happens with the blade of light at the front which extends up to under the cut in the engine hood (cofango)
A clean overall design will be nice for a change. As pointed by Rosario Scelsi, Manzoni gives great importance to the details and they are normally impeccable but his overall design view is sometimes not so clean.
I don't think it represents the new car, but I do like the overall look Agree, the door crease is odd, but I d like the line running beneath it.
Since those in the know state it’s a clean sheet design for the body I wonder if that means also a new aluminum frame or is it the same one with some minor modifications ? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I know exactly what you mean! But combining that timeless '70s look with the modern design of a Vision Gran Turismo Concept is incredibly difficult. This short sketch directly from my mind is therefore a first attempt to marriage a 365 GTB/4 (front to middle) with the Vision Gran Turismo (rear). I know it looks a bit conservative but not bad. In the side view, observers spoke of a Corvette look too, which I also tried to take into account. And the passenger cell is now a little further forward...
In the picture, the mule on top is the most recent one that uses the panels attached to the body. The mule below is the oldest with a Rome-style grille and rear end. The dimensions of both mules and some details appear to be very similar, however I leave that analysis to the design experts. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Omg that's stunning with the exception of the door. Wish it would look like this but fairly certain it won't.
