Holy moly, that looks fantastic! I don’t particularly gravitate to black cars, but your second picture, the drivers side profile, is just poster worthy. Some said earlier I the thread not to modernize it, but the wheels really make the rest of the car pop. Well done, enjoy it every outing you can

Thank you Nick ~ Audi, appreciate the kudo's. Being the car does not have a nick, ding or a scratch on it, I almost do not want to drive it a lot but I'm sure I'll get over that fairy soon!

That looks great. I'm not sure if I'm jealous because it's so perfect or feel luck that mines not. Enjoy it in good health!

I can;t tell from the photos--is it an ABS car? I see it is after the trouble light consul.

Welcome Peter to the Mondial world. It’s a little secret to us owners what a little gem the Mondial is. I just drove my 3.2 cab back from the beach to Central PA for its annual inspection. Yes, inspection. It drove the 170 miles perfectly at 4 in the morning after a quick stop at Wawa for coffee. I had the Atlantic City expressway to myself. Pure happiness!

Look like I'll be able to work out buying my '85 Prunga 308 back! That said, I'll be putting this 3.2 coupe up for sale. If interested, please keep in mind it's recently had a full engine-out rebuild, nothing was spared, new paint, all lines and hoses front to back have been replaced, suspension, etc. etc., around $50K in work by Steve at EMC here in Phoenix. I should be getting all of the receipts and detailed photos of all the work this Friday or the top of next week. Please PM me with interest you may have.

Scouting some brain trust here: My 3.2 was probably a $40K car before all the work that EMC did and its fresh and very solid. Can I easily get $65K for it? I'll have all build pics and receipts next Tuesday that I can post.

    Appreciate al thoughts in advance!

I picked up the rebuild invoices today, good lord, it was over $50K in total parts and labor, suspension rubber, mounts, this and that, you name it. I am seeing a few oil drops back in the garage after a drive that stops after, say a half an hour that the mechanic will attend to next time I bring it in. Outside of that, the car is crazy solid. The sad thing is I've been so busy at work, I've put maybe 10 miles on it since I first brought it home! Here's a few pics:
