Depending on which avenue you take. PMB rebuild your calipers, or aftermarket from a supply house. Will you be doing the labor or a shop? All 4 wheels……. $1800 ….. would not be out of the ball park.

    Could be two questions

    1) Where is the deal to get good parts only price for DIY
    2) A shop quoted me a complete price for parts and labor and i can not belief it

is #2 then recall this is the dirty place of the whole car and labor to clean 40 year old guide pins or parts will make a big change in labor price.
General idea is that parts are reasonable price but labor is the big variable

I used Goldline brakes in Washington. They did an excellent job. Call them. Very reasonable price and quick turnaround.
    They do Porsche 911s also.

I am going through this right now. Someone screwed up my rear caliper adjusters 20 years ago, the inner rear pistons were seized up, and my rear rotors were sort of shot. Everything was also slathered in RTV because the seals in the calipers were gone. I decided to just rebuild/replace everything. I just had PMB rebuild the calipers, bought new rotors from superperformance, bought new stainless steel brake lines from superperformance, and bought new EBC Yellowstuff pads from Summit. The calipers are supposed to show up on the UPS truck today supposedly.

Here is the 2024 cost breakdown. Prices all include shipping:
    - PMB front/rear rebuild cost: $738
    - EBC Yellowstuff pads: $179
    - Superperformance order of rotors and Goodridge brake lines: $1,212

    total: $2,129

Unless the caliper bodies are seriously damaged in some way, rebuilding them (including new pistons if necessary) is a straightforward DIY job. If it were my car I would be disassembling and evaluating the calipers before I considered replacing them.

Check Superformance for parts cost of everything, and be aware that many of the internal components are available for less as Alfa Romeo parts.

why do you need new discs? Are they out of spec or warped?

Why not rebuild the calipers? rebuild kits are a fraction the cost of one caliper

Pads - seem to be the obvious replacement without question if they are worn out.
