Jos dissing Horny. Well I guess this is better than the racing we've been afforded so far.
I always find the most insightful and thoughtful posts are directly proportional to the number of LOLs it includes. Sign of a deep and penetrating intellect.
Is it really not possible to identify the source of the “anonymous” email? Whoever sent it obviously knew who to send it for maximum coverage - and it’s not like the recipient's email addresses are made readily available to the average Joe.
Point is, there's nothing consistent in this story. Look at how things started initially, and where we are today. It started with Horner's misbehaving or somewhat at a gathering with team principals etc. Now, suddenly there's so called evidence been leaked. I'm not defending horner, but it seems to be a massive power struggle going on behind the scenes. The only way i think can be resolved is if the FIA gets involved. From what i see, i still see no evidence whatsoever.
Hilarious - now this is the priority. Spoken like a true serial cheater this one. Pathetic statement. Gets caught, plays victim and now 'See's the Light' of Family and job lol. Loser. Under Fire Horner vows to focus on ‘racing and family’
So, after the Bahrain "race" interrupted the flow of 'real F1 news', do I have the following facts correct as of this date? -Dutch newspaper publishes initial story about inappropriate msgs between CH and employee. -Jos is Dutch -CH exonerated after investigation -next day, someone sends alleged copies of a number of these inappropriate messages to 150 (or so) direct email addresses of leading individuals of F1 and FIA and sport media. As mentioned in an earlier post, these addresses are not easy to discover. -no media nor other source 'leaks' any details of these alleged msgs. Curiously, not one as of yet. -The Telegraph - Sport confirms that Jos 'had a close relationship with the Complainant'. -When asked if he (Jos) is the source of the leaks, Jos avoids directly answering with the reply: "Why would I do that when Max is doing so well here?” -Despite starting 106 F1 races, he won zero. -Despite being a defendant in court numerous times for offenses such as fracturing someone's skull, attempted murder and other charges, he has only spent two weeks in jail. -Jos has spent more time in jail than on the F1 podiums. He has caused more injury off the track than on. Question: If JV is involved as an instigator (broad definition), does JV not have to follow the FIA Sporting Code because he is not an employee of RB,F1 or the FIA?
I think the Autosport story makes sense if Max does have his contract linked to Horner's in the same way that Newey does. I can imagine Jos feeling aggrieved that Max is not the highest paid driver ever. He can't negotiate a higher wage or get Max into another team until the end of his current contract. If Horner leaves that allows Jos to toy with the idea of offering his boy to a different team, even if it's just a ploy to get more money from Red Bull. It's looking likely that Red Bull are going to struggle in the engine department from 2026 as Ford aren't sounding very wholehearted in their enthusiasm for the project. I think we can safely assume that the WA msgs are real as Horner was asked that question at the weekend and he did not say they were fake. So, this is an embarrassing time for Horner, but as always you should follow the money, and that would suggest that this is a Verstappen vs Horner battle. I dislike all those involved and am quite happy to watch this play out. I cannot see an outcome that will make Red Bull faster or Ferrari slower, so it's all good to me!
A Formula One trade magazine that has 5,000 readers has done a 19-page investigation into the case, containing a series of damning new allegations. It also names the female member of staff he is alleged to have texted and documents the power struggle at the top of Red Bull. The author of the piece is Tom Rubython, who has run BusinessF1 Magazine since 2003 and describes himself as 'probably the most sued journalist in Britain'.
This whole Jos-Horner-Max to Mercedes saga reeks of calling Red Bull's bluff. It's clear that they want Horner gone. The open meetings with Merc are there to fuel the fire. I say fueling it. They're dropping ****ing napalm. Moving to Mercedes, he'd have to be NUTS.
Horner may possibly have been trying to tweek Jos’s nose by trying to “stoop” his girlfriend/exgirlfriend. Horner tried to do a power move on Jos(a man with a fierce remper). incredibly stupid action hy Horner. Jos is getting even.
