"355 I'm looking for is in the $175-200k range". I remember 3-4 years ago the best examples were under a $100k. Other than the exhaust note which is epic, there really isn't anything noteworthy about this car in terms of historical quality. A compact SUV could dust it. There is nothing unique about the design to offset the performance either, like there is for other cars like a Testarossa. Probably not worth addressing, but...5 valves per cylinder, 109hp/liter NA, f1 transmission. All historic benchmarks/firsts. I love the Testarossa but other than the looks, there's nothing special about it. It wasn't the first with a flat 12, or anything else for that matter, it wasn't the fastest, and it has no racing history (unlike the 355). As to looking like the mr2, well yeah, because Toyota was copying Ferrari, not the other way around. The 2nd gen mr2 was a 3x8 knockoff.

Congratulations! That car was the one. I really think that is the right car. A '95 GTB! The best one to get, IMO. AND ROSSO BARCHETTA. One of the classiest colors and one of my long time favorites. It's the real red for the car and its the last of them painted without clearcoat. Just like a real racing Ferrari. I think it was '96 they switched to a clearcoat(?) When is it coming in? You will have to post pictures and tell us how you feel when it does! I am excited you!
Thank you Paul. PPI completed today and the car looks good! Should be on a truck by Wednesday and hopefully home the following week! I will definitely post pictures and my thoughts on the car.
If you think that the F355 looks like an MR2 than you might want to see an Ophthalmologist. Just buy the MR2 or a compact SUV and save yourself a lot of money.
The car is incredible. I put 400 miles on it in the 3 days I had it before dropping it off for some work to be done (paint correction, PPF, ceramic coating, etc). I plan to start a new thread when I get her back in 3-4 weeks. Here’s a few shots in the meantime Image Unavailable, Please Login

I'm joking around, sort of. I have two air-cooled 911's, including one that I used to track. I tried to like the new ones, and drove one for a couple of years, but they just left me cold. The GT3's are awesome though.
