Oh he did his job as good manager and minion but lacks the utter emotional intelligence to keep his indiscretions out of Board Managements view and the paying public. No - just another ego driven loser who saw the light yesterday and announced he is focused on family and racing LOL. Church, God, Allah or Yoga are his next focus lol. Again he sounds like a bad politician who got caught in a scandle. Aptly described by Jos - He is playing the victim, when he is the one causing the problems.

He has the character of a pile ile of sand lol. On a good day!

The Whatsapp msgs are from March 23 to Jan 24. It is looking more clear now that this story is nothing to do with sex or Horner being unfaithful. As always it's about money and power. As per Joe Saward:

There have been rumours for a while that Red Bull’s primary shareholder Chalerm Yoovidhya, who controls 51 percent of the shares, is considering taking the Red Bull Technology Group Ltd out of Red Bull GmbH empire and setting it up as an independent car company, with Horner in charge and a shareholder in the business. This makes a great deal of sense because a drinks firm does not really have much use for an engine company and a supercar production division. If Yoovidhya has 51 percent of the shares, he can do as he pleases. Removing Horner would leave the technology division under the control of Red Bull GmbH. Whatever the case, Horner wants to be left alone to run the group he has created, without outside interference. When Dietrich Mateschitz was alive he had that freedom.

So, Christian and Chalem cook up this plan to have Horner in charge of the whole Red Bull car division. Christian was busy raising cash from some British backers. Red Bull Austria don't like this plan. Also Jos is upset that his boy is not getting the recognition and salary he feels he deserves. Max's contract can't be renegotiated before the end of it's term while Horner is in place. Red Bull Austria and Jos would both like Horner gone. Fiona Hewitson shows Jos(?) the msgs she's saved from CH as he's becoming a pest. She broke things off with him and he doesn't seem to be taking no for an answer. Red Bull start an internal investigation. They are contacted by a Dutch journalist and instead of the expected 'no comment' he is told about the investigation. The internet explodes. The investigation is completed and doesn't give the result that RB Austria and Jos were hoping/expecting. The WhatsApps are leaked.

I think Martin Brundle is 100% right when he says this is the beginning of the story and definitely not the end.

So Horner is just a serial cheat on Spicy-Wife with Thai backing lol. The race team is subject to this because his woman rejected him and told him to buzz off, but he's such the entitiled control freak loser who thinks he's a playboy and it blew up and he's the 'victim' LOL> Thanks Horner! You sassy loser lol! :) Again this was always a control issue for the board - Horner just the moron with a lack of character and control who's idiocy made it public. Good luck with the 'car' company. We need more super cars I suppose. So RedBull Thai wants to be an 'Enzo'. What next.....................

These people will end up with no Horner, no Newey, and no MV. Basically going to return the team to its glorious days as Jaguar.

    Smart.

I keep hearing Ferrari fans say they hope the paddock drama at Red Bull will lead to Newey joining Ferrari.

Reality check. Newey is never making the move to Italy, please accept it once and for all. He is 65 years old and these are probably some of his last years in F1, before retiring and doing something else with his life.

Ferrari needs to keep recruiting younger blood.

Jos might be overestimating his abilities if that's the case.

Whereas in RB Horner always seemed a bit... docile (for the lack of a better word), at Mercedes - and specially after Lauda's passing - Torger reigns supreme and doesn't need or want any "appendixes" like Jos always messing around. He would gladly tax Max but Jos would be relegated to the stands.

He has freedom, control and support where he is now. He is universally respected and well compensated. Why would he leave? He has plenty of money. We can all dream but he ain’t moving.

I’m not sure I’m buying any of this or those texts. The woman looks like a weathered old leather hand bag. Horner is a multi millionaire, and F1 attracts some of the nicest tail out there. I’m sure he’s been flirted with, and approached by much nicer options. Plus Jeri looked all smiles in the paddock last weekend. Has anyone actually authenticated those text threads??

You can't go with that. Horner may have simply wanted different spice, not nicer spice.

    Formula 1 community.

I have the most difficulty finding why Jos Verstappen has a hard-on for Christian Horner. Confused, given that Horner seems to be the best for his son, and they are winning races, It's as if Jordan's dad was constantly on Phil Jackson's back. Seems counterproductive for Max right?

Would love to be educated on the reason?

    What am I missing?

My post can easily come of as being sarcastic. I'm serious - what am I missing? Why does Jos hate the man that makes (let's all be honest) *his* dreams come true by having his son be world champion (twice) and what appears to be a third time? I'm in the dark about something.
