Horniers victim is filing a civil lawsuit; this is not gonna dissappear in a long time, like the sneaky Thai's and Horny hoped.

Within thread context: IF Min's contract allowed him to join Mercedes in 2025, what if Toto played hardball and offered HALF Sir Lewis salary and banned JOS for entire period of contract, contract dependent upon finishing top3 WDC? From that point, Min has no good options. :( Newey is the real jewel in the Crown. Thoughts?

It's alright for Max to have a tantrum and walk away from Red Bull, but what about the consequences for him?

His reaction seems very impulsive, to say the least.

Hahaha, honestly, I do enjoy gossip rags, as long as they are segregated in their own thread. In the end it's about free choice and not forcing anything on anyone. Everyone should have the freedom to pick and choose what they what to read and what not to.

If folks don't want to deal with used toilet paper, don't click this thread. There are 100 other threads that have nothing to do with Horney pressuring a girl to watch him flush his coolant.

True, if she doesn't then that definitely falls on Horney's side. Something tells me this isn't as 'over' as much as Christian would like.

    Happy International Women's Day btw.

    From racer.com:

Max Verstappen says Helmut Marko “has to stay” at Red Bull and warns his own future decision-making will be impacted if the Austrian leaves.

Marko has cast doubt on his future as a Red Bull advisor, revealing he is part of an investigation from Red Bull GmbH – which RACER understands relates to the potential leaking of information regarding the Christian Horner allegations – and claiming he could be suspended or choose not to continue working for the company.

Recent reports have suggested Verstappen could have an exit clause in his contract that is activated if Marko departs, and the Dutchman hinted as such as he outlined his strong stance in support of the 80-year-old after taking pole position at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

“From my side, I have a lot of respect for Helmut and what we have achieved together, it goes very far,” Verstappen said. “Of course my loyalty to him is very big. Also, I have always expressed this to everyone within the team, everyone high up, that he is an important part in my decision-making for all the time in the future within the team.”

While Verstappen acknowledged the importance of Red Bull’s senior leadership, he credits Marko with the creation of the current dominant force in Formula 1.

“It is very important that he stays within the team… Including of course everyone else, because it is a whole team effort,” he said. “It is very important that we keep the key people together because I feel like if such an important pillar falls away – that is also what I have said to the team; that is not good for my situation as well.

“For sure, Helmut has to stay. He has built this team together with Dietrich from day one and he has always been very loyal to the team, to everyone within the team, to make sure that everyone would keep their positions from back in the day.

“I think it is also very important that you give the man a lot of respect for what he has done and that comes back also to loyalty and integrity. So for sure it is important he stays part of the team.”

Verstappen currently has a contract with Red Bull up to the end of the 2028 season, and has won three consecutive drivers’ championships with the team.

I guess some team principals must be rubbing their hands watching Red Bull about to implose.
Marko could leave. Then, in a fit of pique, Max would throw the towel and jump ship.
Newey could decide to retire, leaving a damaged Horner to hold the baby.
Probably a lot of the technical team would be tempted by other pasture.
The whole Red Bull empire could collapse in a matter of months, or become another Williams.

Well, if that lass gets sacked, there could be a case of "unfair dismissal".
Don't forget the case would be treated in UK, which has such laws.

I understand that. The point is that NO lawsuit has been filed as I type this...
So, par for the course in this thread, people type what they THINK will happen rather than what HAS happened.

    It's real easy:
Type "I think she's going to file a lawsuit" instead of "Horner's victim is filling a civil lawsuit"

Something is rotten in the State of Denmark.
Horner wanting to tap Jos’s girlfriend smacks of Horner wanting to exert dominance
over him. but i think it backfired.
Horner knows no bounds. he deserves to be sacked.

The case has already been dismissed. Any agreement to quiet settlement is long gone since the leak. Her only hope is to milk Jos for some money because her career at Red Bull is likely over too.

Red Bull has cleared Horner of any wrongdoing (I guess you missed that). So, no, I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that this going to produce a windfall of cash for her.
Red Bull is NOT stupid...suspending her, clearing Horner, etc is just BEGGING for trouble if every "I" is not dotted and every "T" is not crossed... I'm certain they know the WHOLE story (unlike anyone here) and they acted accordingly.

If she isn't happy with that dismissal, she could go to an Industrial Tribunal, in UK.
She could invoke Unfair Dismissal if she is sacked following her complaint.
OR she could claim Constructive Dismissal if she leaves of her own accord because the employer hasn't taken any measure to stop the harassment.
These cases take years to be resolved.
The employer could be in a difficult position, because the law says he has to act to protect the victim from her tormentor, but there is no obligation to sack him, only to keep them apart, which is near impossible if they work at the same location. Often, it ends up with money changing hands, and sometimes lots of it !!!

She doesn't have to accept the dismissal of her complaint as the end of it.
There hasn't been any formal disciplinary procedure for her to put her case.
So she could turn against Red Bull for that failure.

    Lots of assumptions here.
I’m curious why so many of you are so convinced Horner’s guilty?

Maybe you should read about Duke soccer team scandal to see what runaway “trial by public opinion” does. That shocking injustice ruined a lot of lives.
