    Only a year later Ewan but I was just going over the history file and see that the 'Cavallino Rampante' (the Prancing Horse) on the front grille was in fact requested. So there you go, they were not standard at that time.

    They were standard in the 365, but not on the later cars. The retrofit was probably easy. I would not mind one in my car...

    It’s a grey area. There were quite a few “transition cars” in ‘82 with a few more in ‘83.

    The real oddballs are the ones with a Series 2 dash (which wouldn’t necessarily be black, but leather covered to match the interior), TRX wheels, but no load leveler suspension.

    Mine has the newer dash, newer seats, black insert at the rear lights and load levelling suspension.
