Link to the lawsuit filing or are just…assuming?...
https://www.motorsport-magazin.com/formel1/news-287642-red-bull-vor-dem-zerfall-dr-helmut-marko-droht-das-aus-horner-fall-geht-vor-gericht/ Lawsuit filed: Horner case goes to court But a possible exit from Marko is not the only bang in the affair that came to light on Friday and was confirmed by the Austrian. The employee involved, who brought the allegations of “cross-border behavior” against Horner, is now seeking legal action in a civil lawsuit. “Anything that leads to a quick result is more than desirable,” said Marko about this development.
Seeking legal action is not filed even allowing for the translation from German - see post #1018 about her options just above - it seems to me she is in the next stage of the disciplinary process 'suspension' and has no grounds until that is resolved - I suspect the German comment derives from another unattributed story in the UK press that she has appointed very expensive legal representatives
I hope I missed it, but....... I haven't seen a time period when Jos had the alleged relation. Is it possible that the reverse is true: Jos 'wanting to tap' CH's PA? Meaning that She was PA first, then Jos developed the relation?
Many? I think "some" is the more appropriate count. I have no doubt there are "many" who claim inside knowledge. Perhaps you should read some of the "Hamilton deserves more respect" thread and come back and tell us about the "calibre" of some on this forum who claim to have connections while writing the tripe they write. Childish, disrepectful, mean spirited, etc. Yep, that's the "calibre" of people I'm happy to NOT know.
Some interesting quotes from the usually well informed Italian insider Donadoni : The investigation should not be surprising for Marko. The strong Austro-Land thrust failed to hit the mark. The Thai side and Horner, after weeks on defense, now move on to the counter-attack, suspending whoever led Horner's investigation and investigating Marko. Command Yoovidhya #FORMU1A #F1
Another one : it's a total war. The Thai has always cared little about the F1 team. Horner have tried in every way to destroy him and he knows that a reconciliation with the Austro-Dutch side is unlikely. He can calmly go on the attack, knowing that he will most likely have to rebuild part of the team. Max's farewell may make you smile, but to date it is 'secondary'.
I am not assuming anything, just saying that these issues can drag on for years, and ultimately switch from internal enquiry to civil courts, and even reach criminal courts in some cases. Usually that they have for effect to divide public opinion and often tarnish both sides.
Some say that a team is rather similar to any other company of comparable size (with the main difference being the extend of the non-compete agreements). In many companies there are power struggles once leadership or ownership changes, in many companies managers have tried to do enhanced team-building excercises with their assistants. Obviously there will be rumors with varying degree of accuracy. Bottomline: only stakeholders will know the truth (i.e. their personal version of it) everyone else is most likely just dealing in speculations and gossip. I wonder if Occam's razor is a suitable method in these cases.
Horner is delusional. Apparently he's said that RBR will still be a winning team with him leading it, even without Verstappen, Newey and Ford. Red-Bull-Krieg: Helmut Marko droht Rauswurf | AUTO MOTOR UND SPORT (auto-motor-und-sport.de) Desperately sad now that Ferrari signed Lewis so early. Could've gotten the dream team... Might well be a good possibility Max & co all end up at Mercedes.
Rumors from the Corriere ( pinch of salt) stating Today that Newey and Ferrari already reached an agreement..
I'll believe it when I see it. Ok Lewis to Ferrari makes anything a possibility now, who could've seen that coming. But can very easily see Newey & co to Merc. IF all of this happens though. Genuinely amazing how who ever instigated this all in the first place, managed to F it all up this badly. The delusion of Horner thinking he doesn't need Max/Newey is beyond comprehension, and an insult so harsh it's difficult to swallow. Whoever backs him, after that was said, needs his head firmly checked. What I would do and would by far be the best outcome for the team: Remove Horner, Promote Wheatley, keep Max/Newey/Helmut as they are, with a salary bump for all.
Sorry Bas but as a Ferrari tifoso this isn’t the outcome I want. If they’re enough stupid to break from the inside this well oiled winning machine then this is game on for Vasseur and Elkan to poach some of their key members. Ferrari first and foremost.
So there was no sexual contact? How long did this go on? Long enough for the ***** to stop this sooner? This is ridiculous. Lewis to Ferrari is dumb. Lewis is the enemy. Max to Mercedes? Toto will get a black eye.
Hamilton’s hiring has absolutely no importance if they managed to catch Newey. I would even trade Max for Newey if I had a choice!
Newey is near retirement. And with this LONG drawn out race series now, I can see it happening. Lewis is not going to make Ferrari shine IMHO. Another subject: That thing between a women's legs has gotten many men in trouble. If us men didn't need it, we would have not much need for women. Me guilty.
At the moment, that's not what the majority shareholder seems to want. So it's a deadlock. It still doesn't solve the "inapropriate behaviour " issue that started this crisis. .
If pushed, Newey may prefer to stay in England rather than going to Italy. Mercedes-AMG shouldn't be a bad place to work, IMO. Let's not forget that he is getting on too? so he could simply decide to retire.
How do you know his deepest motivation ? He’s the greatest Formula One engineer of history and a very wealthy one. He just bought a beautiful boat near Monaco. Ferrari could offer him a very interesting consultant rôle with different projects possibilities within the Brand. A brand new road car with V12 for instance.. Etc ,, Just imagine Newey initiating a new Ferrari dominance cycle. Legendary.
I never pretended I knew his motivation ! I only wrote "he may prefer to stay in England" I mean at his age, it's not a foregone conclusion that he would jump on the opportunity to uproot himself and move to Italy, after a career in engineering in UK. Liking a country for leisure and holidays is totally different than working and living there. You may think working for Ferrari is the closest thing to paradise, but there are other considerations.
