Yes I have an imported USA car in Belgium. It is the little slizer that is stuck at the end of the rail. I found already some info to disconnect under the seat of in the mid console but the metal slizer should be in his normal position.

By “end”, do you mean the fully forward position?

When you open or close the door, can you hear the motor running or trying to move the slider (mouse)?

Yes, fully forward. No, never heard a motor running.

If the motor is not running or trying to run….

    Some possibilities:

Maybe the switch near the door hinge is broken and the seat belt system thinks that the door is permanently open? Can you remove the switch and check it? It's the lower switch. Be careful as the wiring on these switches can be fragile.

    Motor failure.

ECU failure. Maybe you could swap ECUs?

Power issue. Unfortunately, there are no fuses to check on this system.

Well, my notes say it's the lower switch, but after seeing this photo, I'm not so sure...

This is a car which doesn't have a mousetrack system, so this switch must be for the interior lights. There is just a rectangular hole for a second switch.

Or maybe on mousetrack seatbelt cars, they swapped switch positions?
