Fully agree: a lot of brain power goes into designing an F1 car and it is not a one-man-show.

Having said that: If you want to determine the value of a superior aerodnamicist or if you want to weigh the importance of aero versus PU, you need to consider the equilibrium of longitudinal forces on the car, with all terms formulated as functions of the cars velocity.

Or for those who are not keen on non-linear differential equations: When did the clear Red Bull dominance start? What happened around that time?

F1 insiders have information that U2 is considering a song called "Don't be horny, be Christian" to contribute to the unspeakable sex affair that is filling the pages of the Yellow Press in Britain.

You clearly haven't read ANY of my posts, but rather read the posts where they found Horner GUILTY the day all this came out (go back and read the first 2 pages of this thread if you doubt it). I started out with a "let's see where this goes" but like the Daily Mail, many here did their part in this ritual character assassination of Christian Horner and when I called them out for it, I was the bad guy. And now you, armed with indigination that I would suggest what has gone on here is flat WRONG , chides me instead of the self appointed experts of what Christian Horner did...or they think he did...or some blogger in his mom's basement told them he did...etc.

Some of their greatest hits:
1. Quoting unconfirmed media reports. There are TONS of those. Like Marko going to M-B and taking Max and Newey with him...how'd that work out?
2. Making stuff up. Ditto
3. Saying such unknown/unfounded accusations about Horner...he is an "ego maniac", "sex fiend" etc. How they know this is anyone's best guess since no one here admits to even having met the guy.
4. Nicknaming Horner "Horney". Wow, last name "Horner"...how clever to come up with "Horney" for a little cutdown.

 

I love how you keep avoiding things and changing the subject.

-Everyone here can say what they like....
-It is not your place to tell them what is fact or not (because as you have said you don't know )
-Some are doing it just to fire people like you up. congrats you have given a real show.
-Don't like it move on.... simple, or better yet give you friend a call and tell him him a group of people are saying mean thing (in your opinion) about him.

You’re allowed your opinion, but not your facts. As far as “professional help”, decorum prevents my reply.
And you join your ilk by making things up i.e. my “friend” (Horner). Don’t know him, never claimed to, so I won’t be reaching out to him. Just because you’re faceless on the internet doesn’t mean you should act like jerk and make up stuff to impress your like minded pals.

Newey does not design every part clearly. His job today is to guide the designers, set the goals, and keep testing solutions..... but other than Colin Chapman, I dont know of any other designer that has as much championship hardware on the shelf and a back catalog of successful cars. the only other two are Mauro Forghieri and Gordon Murray. I think the contrary to your comment about it being insulting... if anything those people are relishing the opportunity to work with him. is it insulting to the craftsman in DaVinic's studio when Leonardo gets all the credit for the Mona Lisa? Da Vinci did not paint 100% of the painting... but it is attributed to him.

If DiVinci said "paint a woman" and some other artists actually painted the artwork then yes they should be insulted that he gets all the credit.

Gordon Murray is a perfect example. A lot of people give him credit for the MP4/4 when Steve Nichols was far more responsible for what the car was.

the brother of the woman at issue in the investigation is the brother-in-law of guitarist 'The Edge'. The band reportedly wants to release a song called: 'Don't be Horny, Be a Christian'. The band's pressure with this with their mega influence would have persuaded the Thai owner of Red Bull to fire Horner after all.

 

Correction: Gordon Murray tarnishes his reputation by giving himself credit for the MP4/4.
