Does anyone have one? I’ll take a F1 because a gated one is not going to happen. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
The gated ones became too hot. I opened up looking at F1s and GTBs along with GTS Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I would think it could be done but would ruin the car. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Meh, some would say the advent of the F1 paddles ruined many a car… (Converted cars can also be brought back to original especially since the F1 on a F355 is just an actuator engaging the clutch and nowhere near as complex as modern DCT setups)
I've been trying to keep track of Salvage titled cars and believe this is ZFFXR42A6W0110062 based on the spec.
Black/Black ‘99 GTS F1 was just offered to me, but I think I’m going to pass. PM me with your budget and I’ll share details and seller info if it makes sense. -Erik
"Greeg Justin" you went out of your way to make a profile here and sign up just to post this bright comment?
Apparently Ferrari only built 2 of those with that spec in 1999. Probably the rarest of all F355. If you have info on that car, I would like to know. Regards Jules
Hey Ken, Im not sure about that either, just appears that way in my research for my next purchase. What is the rarest 355 configuration?
The 355 was offered in so many different ways, there’s plenty of rare combinations. Key is what is rare and desirable?
Agreed. A black/black 308 GTS for me would also be a contender. If you look at the 355 registry, (a very cool exercise), you can see that there aren’t too many of certain factory configurations, and from what I saw on the registry anyways, it appeared that a Factory BLK/BLK F1 355 was ultra rare. I guess a green one would be rare to your point too and I didn’t look at that and do a comprehensive cross sectional forensic. Interestingly about the 355, the kind and volume of factory options that are available on all Ferrari models of today, there are actually a lot of options for the 355. Much due to aftermarket participation. Its almost like or it seems anyway, the 355 spawned the broader after market eco system for Ferrari. Cool cars both series
