I agree with you that Cybertruck is "Bleak and devoid of humanity" as it has all the appeal of a shard of glasss in the eye, but I think you're being a bit harsh on the Fiat.
If you consider the context insofar as the photos posted here are for car meant to replace the Fiat Panda (photo below) which is tiny and is destined to remain so, I hope you will agree that it's more a Lego block than the aforementioned shard of glass!
The more I look at the photos of the five iterations, the more I think the reference for this 'new Panda' was Giugiaro's brilliant flat panel original, which I see here in Rome on a daily basis.
It will be interesting to see what Fiat plans for the Cinquecento which is currently based on the Panda platform.

I'm going to respectfully disagree here. I believe this design is what I would refer to as in the 'product design/industrial design' idiom. While its basic architecture is reminiscent of many of Giugiaro's former designs, it is a fresh take on that design vocabulary IMO.

Everyone is trying to stand out from the pack visually. Some are on the right track,I believe others have come off the rails. This design fits the brand with a fresh take.

As usual, the normal caveats apply. Just my personal opinion and observations.

No! I won't have it.

There is nothing that comes even close the to bleakness and inhumanity of a Tesla Cybertruck.

Or alternatively, "calling yourself a designer because you can use AI, is like calling yourself a Chef because you know how to order off the menu"

Do you think current Cadillac designers will look at the production methods pioneered in the Celestiq and incorporate them in appealing/restrained ways for future mass production Cadillacs? Or is the Celestiq intended as a kind of semi-production concept car for brand building/awareness?

    All the best,
    Andrew.

The Cybertruck almost feels like a cruel joke. I can imagine Elon Musk having dinner with other billionaires and going: "Just watch, I bet I can get the masses to buy into this thing."

    All the best,

    Probably, yes & yes.
I believe the Celestiq is pointing the way forward for the brand, both in design vocabulary and vision statement. But like many things, those goals are always flexible, depending on whomever is currently steering the 'design ship'. The dreaded "i didn't do it so it can't be any good" is always lurking below the surface.
But I do believe the Celestiq is the way forward for the brand.

The passing of a true legend.
    _autodesignmagazine
    R. I. P. Maestro
Marcello Gandini, master of car design, has passed away at the age of 85. Gandini was involved in design from an early age, starting in the field of interior design and then moving on to car design, first at Bertone, eventually becoming its Style Director and working on models that have gone down in history such as the Lamborghini Miura, Ferrari Dino, Lancia Stratos and many others. As an independent designer, he signed collaborations with many car manufacturers such as Renault, Lamborghini, Maserati, Nissan, Toyota and Subaru, among others.

Normally I enjoy a good weird Fiat, but this abomination skewers my faith. The old Pandas were earnest looking honest contraptions, representative of hope they might offer basic and possibly reliable transportation. This concept reminds me of an Ogle designed elevator keyboard. It makes me long for the days of wretch per Omni 024 and Fairmont T-Birds, at least they were worth criticizing.
