I think the prices for the hypercars will be in the 900K- 1M+ if the F167 is going out the door at 600K
If the car is smaller, more dynamic with a ring time around 7 minutes- I’ll be very happy- that’s less than 100K per minute!

wow talk about inflation. well overall i think it is a good thing if they can get those prices it should bolster the used car market upwards as well. only time will tell!

if it is a stunner i may sell my F12 and F430 and throw my hat in the ring for one!

From a content perspective, this will be the best front engine V12 car the world has ever seen. It will set new benchmarks for agility, handling and sportiness, while also offering a significant step up in ride quality and driving pleasure versus F12 and 812.

OK. You win the hype of the model award! The proud owner of this new car will dramatically lose 25lbs and make your wife a 10. Tailor made and you will also get 3 free wishes and one of them can be more wishes. Its that darn good.

My point is this … it’s not just inflation or price hikes for the same level of car. It will have more significant new tech, performance envelope, and other driving pleasure related amenities that will justify the step change in price vs 812

my dear, if it doesn't have the things you mentioned , it would be new model, more like a facelift.
The fact stays the prices are crazy, and taking this car for example if got carried with options you get to hyper car territory ,700-800000.
The 918 was around 750000 when launched years ago.
To it's favor the F167 will be north of 2 mil.

Leonardo Fioravanti is an engineer and a car designer who needs no introduction because some of the most beautiful and famous Ferraris of all time as the Daytona, Testarossa and F40 are linked to him.
Flavio Manzoni is an architect, a car designer and has headed the Ferrari design center since 2010. Having since created what is the new aesthetic image of Ferrari there are many that consider his work irreproachable but, there are some, that think that "he has impulses of great genius where the details are impeccable, but the overall view is sometimes disturbed by something, by a discordant note."

Below are some of Leonardo Fioravanti and Flavio Manzoni ideas about the art of designing Ferraris.

    L.F.
"My method, from the beginning, has been to start from function, because it doesn't require explanations. The function is then expressed with an aesthetic, from the Greek 'what appears'. […] Style for me is the last thing and it is the personal feeling of the interpretation of aesthetics”.

    F.M.
“There is a quote by Constantin Brâncuşi that really resonates with me and that manifests in the philosophy behind the Ferrari Styling Centre: “Simplicity is resolved complexity.” One of the most influential sculptors of the 20th Century, Brâncuşi – along with other great masters of contemporary art – have taught us as car designers to cultivate a certain sensitivity, at the same time safeguard a certain freedom, necessary to be able to make decisions and finalize the whole creative work with a spirit of synthesis. The ability to synthesize what then translates into the form that traces the surfaces and volumes of a car, but also every minute detail inside as well as outside, is basically what is required of an automobile designer.”

    F.M.
“In the past, car designers could think of themselves as artists as they had almost total creative freedom. Nowadays, along with homologation requirements, there is a very high level of technological complexity in cars, particularly Ferrari cars. The designer’s job has become much more difficult and complicated, also because we are constantly striving for excellence, to improve right across the board, from aerodynamics to thermal management and track performance. “

Flavio Manzoni head of Ferrari design has made reference to safety and aerodynamics influencing the way the current cars look.

    L.F.

“For me it is not the problem. If you don’t have new demands from safety and aerodynamics, you simply repeat what has gone before. It is good to have fresh parameters so that there are functional reasons to develop new designs … fresh challenges, to make an effort to improve.”

“ It’s the approach that matters. Nowadays the approach is commercial … all about sales and marketing. Go back to engineering principles, and the outcome would be better. “

“All current designs have a big hole in the middle [at the front] for cooling the radiator, and two holes at the side, which in most cases are fake. Like the Americans after the war — fake! “

    F.M.
“So the design of a car starts from fully understanding the engineering approach, and then translating it into a form that captures the essence of the project. The 2019 SF90 Stradale is a good example because, in terms of proportions, the configuration with the central- rear mounted V8 and the hybrid components allowed us to design a “cab forward” effect and a long and architectural tail.”

    L.F.
“For me the key to good design comes from function, then aesthetics, then interpreted with personal style. This is my approach.”

What are they so worried about? We're going to see the car in six weeks. Is Mazda going to rip off the design between now and then? I guaranty the Chinese already have the design and are working on a copy as we speak.

The comparison of this new mule with the previous one also covered with panels, shows that nothing seems to have changed in terms of the bodywork hidden underneath. The front fender and left door panels appear to be the same. The biggest changes, however, are in the shape and larger size of the panel placed on the side over the rear fender and also in the U-shaped panel that hides the luggage compartment.

For me this was a way found by Manzoni to make fun of us :)
