Not easily answered.......everyone is in their own boat with one oar for this journey. I found these seats and decided I would MAKE them work. The more narrow floor space on the driver side was a challenge. Seat belts were another hurtle. I think it took me near 6 months to finally get it done. The oem seats are terrible. Reminds me of 240Z seats with no side bolstering. The 430 seats are so comfortable and really feel like you sitting in a bucket. Seats are often overlooked in how they can transform the feel of the drive; being glued into the seat gives the illusion of more power.

Those look so good in a 355. I had them in my 993 as my track seats and they were a pain getting in and out when used the car for street driving....how bad is it climbing in when you also have to levitate over a 355's half-mile wide door sill?
But seriously, Brandon, not only do I have the wide door sill and high-bolstered racing bucket seat to contend with but also the side bars of the roll cage. I grab onto the roll cage bend by the A-pillar to assist my ingress and egress of the car.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one to dislike the factory CF seats for the same reason (too large).
I'm going F40 buckets with period correct Connolly autolux beige. I didn't buy this car for resale so making it how I want it. Should be complete in 10 weeks or so

Ken posted a few nice shots of F40 seats but to my knowledge no one has done them with leather and alcantera like I plan to do. Here is a picture of what I’m going for but these are 355 buckets. The black leather seats also went out of its way to employ french stitching around the headrest to look even closer to 355 seats. Other F40 seats I’ve seen were done the traditional way.
