Re-trimming the seats would only cost a couple thousand and would make all the difference to the way the car presents. The fact that they haven't bothered before putting the car up for sale again says a lot.

Whoever buys this car needs a set of original seat covers and I have them in stock so do contact me!

The leather trimmed seats just look awful and wrong on that car.

 

How does the car gain "Ferrari Classiche" certification with non-original seat coverings? I thought cars had to be "as they left the factory" to gain this status.

 

Very questionable.

 

Whichever dealer performed the Classiche probably swapped seats or just provides photos of another car, I wouldn't be surprised if the latter as they all look the same with the same colour combo in all cars.

Do you think these black leather F40 seats came like this from the factory? I ask because the craftsmanship looks very OE and in line with other carbon bucketed cars from the 90’s.

690,000 Euros... I was expecting a low number as the car looks in a rather bad shape, but I was still thinking closer to 1m Euros.
