Minardi M191 in 1/24th scale is out. Really good looking model with rain tires. It was powered by a Ferrari V12 so Ferrari collectors must have it !! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Next Ferrari models in 1/24th from Hachette.... Alot of great cars. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A better photo of the 1/24th F2008 and also the 312B3. The wheels look changed from the 312B they did, thank god as they messed up the front wheel bolt pattern. Time to toss my 1/24th Trinity 312B3 in the garbage Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well this sounds really interesting. Hachette has announced an Abarth 1/24th newsstand series!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This really sounds great - I do hope that it will not end after the 4-car-test as it happened with the FIAT series and the 24 h LeMans series which have also been stopped after the first 4 models... Unfortunately I see short cuts with the 1000 TCR presented in the video: all 4 wheels/tires are of the same size....But the model itself is definitely workable !
Time to toss my 1/24th Trinity 312B3 in the garbage I will keep my TINITY 312 B3. At that time it was modelling art with nice proportions. I spent a lot of time already to make a model out of this massive chunk of resine. Main problem is to get decals. Some day I will finish it... Yes a lot of resin drilling. And the decals are very yellowed as only the British decal makers can do!!
Wonder why Vettel hasn’t been included in the Ferrari collection? I see he is in the general F1 releases but the Ferrari collection either uses LeClerc or Raikkonen for his years so far.
I wonder if they'll do a version of the 312 B2 the way it appeared in early 1971, with an exposed roll bar without that ugly white cover that the model had for most of its life.
Last two modern cars in 1/24th by Hachette. The C42 is nice. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I do see a few parts from the pretty bad Trinity model I will use on the Hachette 312B3, like the suspension parts and the photoetch sheet. The diecast weak points are mainly in the suspension and motor. The body and paint are very nice on the Hachette, as long as you don't get a defective model. Your pictured "Trinity 313B3" model looks already highly modified. That entire cockpit and seat are new as the Trinity body and cockpit were a solid chunk with the driver even molded in!!!
Tom, have you heard anything new about the rumoured 1/24 Le Mans series ? Will it ever see the light of the day? Or has it died quietly after the 4-car-test as has the Fiat collection and I'm afraid the Abarth 1/24 will not make it also (4 test models, and that's it)...
I would guess someday it will continue. That's just a guess, but Hachette is pretty well into 1/24th scale now. Leman's winners are the next step. Not as sure about the Abarth series. They did do Ferrari and Alfa, but Abarth are not so famous. Maybe a Maserati series, or Italian exotics series? Sportscars of Italy in 1/24th scale, but do more vintage than modern as the modern ones all pretty much look the same. Now that would be good!!
So, I have the 312B3 today from my trusty source in Italy. After checking the front wheels, I found they did change them since the 312B model. Good and bad news. The 1970 model wheels look more like the 1974 B cars and the 1974 B3 cars wheels look like the 1970's car. Tires should stay with the car but flip the front wheels!! Leave the rears as they came. The 312B3 is really well done in fact and I plan on throwing the Trinity in the bin as planned, minus the photoetch parts and a few suspension parts.
They put up a photo of the #82 1/24th release Wolf WR3 that Keke Rosberg drove in 1978. It won't be out until early May. You can also get the regular colors in 1/24th scale from Indycals. 1977 Wolf WR1 Decals (indycals.net) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Next 1/24th Hachette Ferrari's and F1 cars. The 126C2 is out as is the Sauber C23. I think the Protar kit is better than this Hachette model from the photos, but that was Protar's best 1/24th kit IMO. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hachette 1/24th Sauber C23 and Ligier JS11 1979 previews. Front tires look a little fat, and Eagle needs to be removed. Tobacco sponsors are normally included in the next model or taped to the bottom. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
