Well Ralf, feeling the need to stay or maybe just become relevant, feels the need to chime in... Christian Horner told to ‘resign as soon as possible’ by defiant Ralf Schumacher (msn.com) And here's an example of the level of reporting on this: Christian Horner update as ‘major Red Bull figures hold talks’ (msn.com) So now, Jos is part of Red Bull and is a "major Red Bull figure"? I think MAX is a major Red Bull figure, Jos is a wife beater, murderer, etc...but hey, why not have a guy like that being in on the meetings (which I doubt)? But Jos is in a "power struggle" with Horner for control of Red Bull? Gimme a break
Jos Verstappen is like a busy bee: you never know when he will sting next by going to the media with a new story. Ralf Schumacher is trying very hard to be relevant around F1.
Jos Verstappen is behind all of this, including recruiting the girl to try and entrap Horner. But Marko is also involved, they both want to take over running the RB formula 1 team.
Your opinion ? or do you have fact/evidence of this ? The guy cheated on his pregnant partner don't think there was much trying if that was the case.
Following on from Spygate and Crashgate any nominations for this situation? I will kick of with SpiceGate
That's quite impressive and supreme foresight from Jos given that Max 6 years old when the girl started to work for Red Bull. Image Unavailable, Please Login
1976: James Hunt sleeps with hundreds of women and no one bats an eye. 2024: Alleged sexual texts messages from an unknown source about Christian Horner and all hell breaks loose. This is definitely a different world we are living in.
And now we have another has been/never was chiming in on what Horner should do (shockingly, he suggests stepping down). Johnny Herbert (to go along with "defiant" Ralf Schumaker) proclaims that Horner should go. Now Ralf, who cares what HE says, but Herbert is a steward at the Australian GP...maybe he should step down since he's clearly not unbiased here. Or maybe it's OK for a steward to be running his mouth??? Herbert calls out Horner AND will be a steward at the Australian GP (gpblog.com)
Stop fantasizing @jpalmito . There is more chance that it will not happend, than the contrary. Probably that even if the winning RBR team (Horner, Verstappen and Newey) is disbanding, Newey won't pass to the enemy to help Hamilton. I cannot see that happening.
lol answering a question with a question. Hey if you don't know history I can't help you. He married the other woman so I guess it FACT. Anyway.. I was actual interested in what you knew or thought. "Jos Verstappen is behind all of this" You are giving Jos far to much credit, He couldn't do this. Not smart enough for one fact. But once the powerplay started he jump on board 100%. my 2 cents In my opinion this all started with Horner trying to buy and take control of the team from behind the current owners back. Then from that point it's been a runaway train with many jumping on board.
I don't see why introducing the alleged dumping a pregnant partner was introduced in this discussion. We can all have opinions, of course; what seems certain is that several people would like Horner to go. Not everybody inside the Red Bull group agreed with the direction he wanted RBR to take . Cancelling the partnership with Porsche, and choose Ford instead was maybe at the origin of this conflict. Dieter Mateschitz' death took away Horner's main support in the group, and he may have been asked to go. I guess this "innapropriate behaviour" accusation was just a plot for force him out. That seems to have backfired. Now it looks like all parties have been tainted by this story; even if the team is still performing, there must be an atmosphere of suspicion, and some heads may roll before the top management is satisfied.
So you are not saying he cheated on his current wife...but did years ago with his former wife. That is very different than the way you presented it. As for how smart Jos is, well he controls Max, and if he tells Max to leave RB, the son will follow his father's orders. That doesn't require a genius, just an ambition-driven man.
