I will also confirm that Dr. Zuffenhausen on eBay and Sanfran on FerrariChat are one in the same. I found him through eBay first which led me to search for the posts on here.

 

Did you ask him if he can get you the titanium lug bolts?

 

He said he didn’t have access to them any longer. While not titanium, since they are a bit smaller, they do weigh less. Here’s my comparison, with units in ounces.

can you use the lug bolts that come with the starfish rims on those cs style rims ? or do you need to find different ones to fit ? thx

 

The offset on the wheels is different, and you can see in my comparison picture that the beveled part wouldn’t seat, so no they won’t work.

 

Do you know what the shank length is on the bolts you’re using? My car came with these wheels and 11mm spacers, with 30mm shank bolts. When I tried to install the wheels without the spacers this season, the bolts are too long, getting caught and hitting something inside the hub.
I’d love to know what specs people are using with these wheels.

 

I pulled one out to look at it. Says thread size 14x1.5. Not sure if I am measuring right, but it looks like 28mm from end of bolt to the end of the threads. There is an extra 2mm of space before the bolt turns conical.

For those that have these, does it feel and drive like OEM? Has anyone had any issues? Also considering picking up a set.

 

How close are these to OEM?

 

Do a search for member “sanfran” and you’ll find some threads with the details and some opinions. All the feedback appears to be positive. Believe he sold quite a few sets.

 

I have an OEM set if needed. $7500 with brand new center caps and Titanium Lugs.

 

I have a set from sanfran. One of the best value car related purchases I’ve ever made. Tracked these wheels well over a dozen times.

I’ve looked at their site/wheels before. What are your thoughts other than looks? They are aggressive offset, have you had any rubbing issues. Been waiting to find someone that has bought from them…can you post more pics if possible.

Finally got my wheels from former member sanfran. Love the extra .5” in width on the front. Went with 235 up front and 295 out back. Added some titanium bolts as well. Super happy with the fit and finish and the extra .5” width up front is very noticeable.
