Yet one more reason I’m relieved to be at the end of my sports car journey…..God-awful current lineup designs notwithstanding!

In these images, even with the disguises, it is noticeable that the hood is extremely low, and the windshield is a little larger and more vertical than that of the 812/F12, which will provide a different driving position and better visibility.

It was an adulteration in the name of aerodynamics I believe or is that a myth?

Can anyone work out the wheelbase and length of it based on the side profile pic, assuming 21" wheels?

That’s correct the 250 Breadvan was more aerodynamic and faster on the straight than the 250 GTO . However, when the Breadvan raced at Le Mans it retired after 4 hours while two of the 250 GTO’s finished first and second.
Aerodynamics is just one part of the equation..

No 250 GTO ever won the 24 h of Le Mans.
You probably mean class wins but not OA.

Yes, because OHNO was very close with one of his sketches, that is why they are going to more extreme ways of hiding the car.

Which of my sketches? I've made several thousand...:D

Sure: I edited the prototype photo and only drew the lines that I think are reasonably visible. The result is a very elegant Berlinetta with a rising side line and a strong, short and muscular back. I left out lines on the roof that are actually still more of a speculation (like the targa bar)...

By the way... did i mentioned that isot did a fantastic job with the taillights?;)

I think it will be equipped with the blind spot assist (which I believe wasnt available on the 812 or any current gen). Reason why a section of the bumper is left uncovered by the covering panels.

I reworked the whole thing a bit... in this case it will be a really nice car, I think. And reminds me a bit of this old car below...;)

Ohno drew the lines that he thinks are reasonably visible on one of the mules and they appear on the first picture. Ohno said, "The result is a very elegant Berlinetta with a rising side line and a strong, short and muscular back".
Although it may seem somewhat naive, what I did was superimpose Ohno's lines on the 812 SF and the F12 B to try to visualize how could be the progression to the F167.

This is very, very nice but also too obvious IMO. I guess/hope the real deal will have some twists here and there.

Also, how different is the F167 platform from the F12/812 one? Proportions are soo close it could almost be a 3rd iteration.
