Don't forget that some of the prototype photos show the Spider version. Perfect for Miami in a couple weeks. Marcel Massini
According to connoisseurs, this mule could also hide an F167 GTS. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
They should launch Spider version right from the start making customers wait a Year or more is Not right especially folks living in warm weather places. Florida gets up to 250 days of sunshine a year. Also dealers play this charade of making you buy a coupe before you get a spider artificially inflating the coupe market
Hmmmm. So then the bread-box panels are hiding the top mechanism? In my thinking, the implication is there too will be buttresses. Ugh! Boo, hiss……. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Ferrari / dealers don't allow ADM - GT3RS 150 - 200k over msrp. Prefer order a Ferrari coupe then spider / track / limited vs pay ADM on a car I didn't get to spec. Ferrari and their dealers help their "customers" - only way they get special allocations. I also prefer Spiders but when offered XX coupe - yes please and it's taken a long time and a lot of hard work to get here.
It can get so hot in these places that it puzzles me why anyone would want a convertible, unless they only drive during night time.
More likely early mornings top down, mid day top up then down again for evening cruising. I have no problem with retracting hardtop but please minimize those buttresses- they look odd on front engine cars. Oh and I would call the 812(and F12, F167etc) hyperGTs. Perhaps not the frenetic acceleration of today’s electric propulsion cars but by all measurements have near hypercar performance but with a bit more relaxed attitude for the road. With my friend Derek Cornelissen we checked all the prototypes and there is no one with the typical cut on the roof arch between the A pillar and the roof. There are no cuts into the rubber gasket. All the prototypes (avan-serie) are coupe
Same as both yall from multiple sources. Both cars in Miami as production run allegedly limited. And soft top not targa for Daytona spider look. That’s why the panels. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
the car on the right is a coupe! It hasn’t cuts and it has the antenna too for the rear mirror camera for sure they will launch both cars at the same time as you say…
That's the point it is all totally hided. The roof and the back section are totally different to the other current Mule. This is to hide that its a GTS/Spider. This idea is backed up with the front basically being the same to the other current mule also.
Was the 296 GTS running around at the same time as the GTB just before the GTB unveiling? I can't remember. I know the camo GTS was running around almost immediately after the GTB unveiling. If it is the first case, there is still hope for only the coupe at Miami. However, it would be cool to see the convertible version as well... but recent history shows coupe first, then convertible on regular series cars.
I do buttresses when they're done right (as in the bulb matches the top of the seats). For example: 911 Speedster Image Unavailable, Please Login Gunther werks speedster Image Unavailable, Please Login As long as they're not triangles misaligned with the seats.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
