Hey guys, My 2015 California T trunk is no longer soft closing - basically if you release it at any height it will close very hard (and loudly). Pardon my complete noobness but is this a mechnical or electrical issue? The car is 24-7 on the battery tender - but to be fair I've driven it very infrequently over the last 4 months or so. I've had the ocassional electronic gremlin where the roof won't fully close or open but doing the key fob trick fixes that each time. Any advice appreciated. Have searched the forum but not seen anyone with this issue.
Not sure if it is similar to the '11 Cali, but does your rear trunk/boot hood have struts that could be leaking/weakening? T
