Not all carriers insure Ferraris. Who do you go with that has reasonable rates and good coverage?

I used State Farm, which I use for all my other cars. It cost me $1.05 more daily to insure my 458 than my Porsche GT4.

I use Hagerty for my 296. Not sure if that's a great option.

Pure, Hagerty or Chubb(although the latter has had issues recently)- I would go for agreed value but at new car replacement value- ie what you paid for the car new- I’ve done that for all exotic and expensive cars(high end MB etc)- yes it’s more expensive but total your Ferrari and you’ll be alot happier getting the full value of the car new when you go and order a replacement

I have State Farm and they use OEM in the event of a repair. No idea why you’d say that. You simply ask for OEM. Just did it with my Audi.

I have a standard policy from USAA for my gated 360. Will I ever crash the car? It's unlikely, so why pay a ton extra for an agreed value insurance policy when I'll never need it?

If I do crash it, I'll take my lumps and self-insure to the market value.

State farm has rejected using ferrari parts in the past. Guessing they dont like italian part price or labor rates.

Generally, if you need fenders for your Ferrari, the insurance company has already totalled out your car.

How do you like the GT4 compared to your 458? If you could only have 1, which one are you taking?

Hi my friend, I am busy today so I will get back to this tonight for you and go over how I feel about them in more depth to help draw a conclusion. They are different price points, even at this age difference. The GT4 is a superb car, and I felt confident you could abuse it anywhere. With that said, my first redline experience in the 458 gave me a joy I never had in the GT4 (even though I took the GT4 to the redline on the track). Is that worth the price difference if money is no object? Again, let me get back to you later, but my current consensus is 458. Thanks

Question for those who use Grundy ... their uninsured motorist coverage is capped (at least in my state) for $20,000/40,000 ... my policy with Geico is much higher ($250k/$500k). Similar for others? Not sure this will work with my umbrella coverage.

The disclaimer states that as long as you have other vehicles covered with another insurer (we do), that coverage would kick in instead. It's not clear that it would apply to the car covered by Grundy, though.
