    Haha

    Nope....
When they started taking it apart I realized there's no insulation in these cars so we ended upp pulling the whole interior to install some sound deadening but while it's open we're going to be running a bunch of wires.
This was a pic of before the sound deadening being installed.

Just what you need Adam. Sound deadening so you can’t hear your exhaust screaming!! lol.

Super curious about the before and after in terms of cabin comfort and sound level!

    Thanks!

The interior is what initially attracted me to the car. It was love at first sight.

    Me too.....
The shop claims It's going to be a night and day difference but only time will tell.
After everything was stripped out and the vehicle was bare, you can really tell that there was nothing there in between the frame and the interior lining as far as insulation or soundproofing so I'm thinking it's going to be a huge improvement.
I've owned many other cars in the past (mostly German) but this is my first Ferrari and I was surprised on their build quality.
I'm also having a Novitec exhaust and X-Pipe installed so I was concerned about having the exhaust noise drone through into the cabin.
    More updates to follow

If it were a good surprise I wouldn't have gone through the trouble and expense of taking the whole car apart for soundproofing.

It’s a Ferrari. It’s a V12. Most owners want to hear it….so you put a Novitec on for others?

Agreed that it's a Ferrari and a V12. Sometimes I just want peace and quiet in the cabin. I had a switch installed for the exhaust so I can open or close the valves to mute it. I most certainly didn't install the exhaust for anyone but myself. I love the sound of it, but I want to be in control of it at all times.

sound deadening will help most with road noise and vibrations, you'll still be able to hear the exhaust just fine, if not even more due to this

The rims have arrived and they look sharp.
The exhaust and X-Pipe sound epic!!
I'll post a video of it with some revs, but it must be heard in person to feel it and get the full experience. I'm telling you the walls tremble when it starts!!! The video doesn't do it any justice at all.

Good lord!! I think the term “ it sounds like a race car” is so overused but in this case it’s true.
