    Hi all,

I know the Ferrari vs Lamborghini debate has been beaten to death for the more modern cars and the mid engines but I've been having trouble finding comparisons for the 1960s front engine models here and elsewhere aside from some short term magazine article/video reviews and a few scattered forum posts (Please forgive me if this topic has a dedicated thread I missed). Most of the reviews for these models always seem to be largely positive when being judged individually but I am curious on how contemporary owners compare the "rival" models between each other.

I am nowhere close to being able to afford any of these yet but they are some of my favorites from both brands which is why I'd love to hear from those that have had experience with them on how they compare as weekend drivers. Specifically, I'd love to know how they compare in terms of handling, steering feel, visibility, mechanical quirks, road noise, etc. Also, any info regarding cabin comfort would be appreciated as well as I have heard some can be cramped for taller drivers (I'm 5'11").

Based on the production years the main rivalry between each model generation roughly seems to be:

    1964-66

    250 Lusso/275 GTB 2 cam vs 350 GT

    1966-68
    330 GTC/330 GT 2+2 vs 400 GT Interim/2+2

    1968-69

    365 GTC vs Islero

    365 GT 2+2 vs Espada

Any thoughts/experiences between these or similar models (Daytona, Jarama, 365 GTC/4, etc) would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

Hey There, I have been working on these types of cars for along time now and am very biased toward Ferraris. I Personally find the ride quality and driving position in the 350/400gts very boring. They defiantly are a GT car. I have worked on and driven countless 330GTCs, They are fantastic! Easier to work on and more comfortable. I also find them more attractive compared to the Lamborghinis.

    Just my 2cents:)
