Re the Vanquish Gen. 1 parts page at the Works website, the number of items listed isn't many. Hopefully they query and link with Aston dealer parts departments world wide to help source parts. FWIW, doing a search, "Aston Martin Gen. 1 Vanquish parts sources" returned the following possible source sites. Hopefully they are useful:
    https://www.astonstore.co.uk/product-category/complete-catalogue-new/aston-martin-vanquish-parts/vanquish-2001-2007/
    https://v12vanquish.com/parts/
    https://www.scuderiacarparts.com/carparts/model/astonmartin/astonmartin-vanquish-parts_154.html

In central PA, we unfortunately have to go a long way for dealer support: Philly, Summit in NJ or DC. Long Island or Miller are worse. Independents as well: Steel Wings in Ivyland, PA (if they do Vanquish), Exoticars USA in Frenchtown or Rosso in West Chester. Although I am a few miles from the Manheim Auction and its surrounding ecosystem of repair shops, there are none that service Gen. 1 that I am aware.

While there currently a pretty good number on Gen. 1's listed for sale at interesting prices on various sites, these logistical concerns make it scary to purchase one, not considering from the potential for big repair costs discussed well in this great thread.

Check out astonowners.com forum for information on the gen 1 vanquish. The Aston owners club also has a very good forum but I think you have to pay the membership fee to access it. Website is amoc.org.

This is what's been needed for a long time to debunk the "gear box" complaint nonsense that people have perpetuated for the past 20+ years and parroting what they have heard or seen on Top Gear (Clarkson).
