What are these wheels, who made them ? I may have to obtain them. Great photo’s on this listing. Really captured the essence.
The “A” is the only thing - for some of us people that tried both out and then dropped the coin on a full restoration. I have enough 6 speeds. Just not what I wanted for my daily in the big city - as I am pushing 50. To each their own.
found this while hunting today. didn't call for price. euro version (km) looks very nice. rear ashtray. not sure bout anything else cuz no info online. https://www.westcoastexoticcars.com/used-vehicle-1996-ferrari-456gt-c-2039/
I really think I like those wheels better than the Barchetta wheels. Between those, the new COP kit and the new audio options my wife is going to need to be…understanding.
yup I did! should be here today or tomorrow. Going straight to our shop for a little inspection. then I'll take to her to my warehouse and fiddle around with the small nit-picky things that need attention. Shawn was awesome to work with. We remain in contact; I think we'll stay friends. Would definitely buy another car from him... after you go and inspect it! cheers!
I was totally amazed how much torque that carbureted engine had, even while cold. Shawn said that it was much faster than his 400i. He is a cool dude, same guy that took a bath on that green SF90 that recently sold on BAT. His local buddy recently procured a 456M here in LA. He really liked the sound of my Fabio deletes and took a vid for his buddy to hear. He knows some of the same wrenches here in LA too.
remind me your setup is Fabio muffler deletes only right? You still have the OEM mid-pipe muffler/sliencer.
Saw this one on ebay this morning... https://www.ebay.com/itm/235526651340?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Tbtb87blRhi&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=_LKYa4nlQie&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
I was going to say that is an aggressive ask but given the low miles, cool color, amount of recent service and even the fact that it is an early car is kinda cool. Plus it plated in CA (aka CARB compliant). I would hope they could obtain that price from somebody who wanted a low mileage sorted GTA. If their were even two people in that particular market it could do well.
Guys I don’t have it in my notes….are one of us from BaT jadvette94? I joked once that he is Elon since he likes to bid $69,420. He follows and comments so much on a variety of fcars including our 456/550/575’s it would be good to have him over here as well unless he already is?
Ha, Ferrari55whoa must be the underhill acct. This is Jadvette94, and yes the $69,420 is a favorite bid # (I dream of stealing a 550/575 for that amount some day). Anyway, hi everyone.
Welcome and thanks for checking in. Will be fun today to watch how high the Azzurro 456 jumps today as it approaches the finish line https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2000-ferrari-456m-gta-9/#comments-anchor
Wow that seemed very reasonably priced at a hammer price of $56,500 hope the buyer gets the luggage on the other auction https://bringatrailer.com/listing/luggage-56/#comments-anchor
Wonder if the high bidder will close just because he has limited history and like the 2nd highest bidder said….surprised it sold. Hopefully the high bidder is excited. one of his past posts notes he took a ride as a prospective buyer in a new Pantera in 1974….so that is a seasoned gentleman. For a discerning seasoned gentleman. as an auto it would make a great retirement daily driver…
