I can hardly wait for market experts offering detailed analysis, including reasons as to why not and whether or not any of the final bids are reflective of the current value of each example and/or the market in general.

It amazes me someone that is selling a car like this, especially when consigned to a “Dealer” after a no sale at auction, doesn’t expect more.

The exterior pics look really awesome. The underside pics, and other pics look……

Well, I can’t say, because I can’t see anything. Do you? Any of your questions answered? Well, mine weren’t, or not even acknowledged… WHAT A WAY TO BUILD CONFIDENCE

I FULLY admit, as I have always said, “Chairs” are cool but “FLARES” look very dumb and very few have seen them in person.

FLARES are the dumbest and silliest look on a Dino.

REGARDLESS, of my thoughts, you are aiming at the collector that isn’t a Dino person.

Where the hell are the pics and conversation of ANY BAT seller that drives value, not here….

    The Dino market is falling….

    What isn’t?

Please PM me if you have/or know of a Dino looking for a new home. There are a few I know that want to take on the chore

As with all cars right now, there's a wider gap between the best and the rest. The best Dinos are near $1m. The rest have fallen back a bit.

Well, generally that has always been the case with all vintage cars. i.e. exceptional examples will always bring or cost more than "average" or lesser ones. Nothing new.

Read what I wrote again. I said “wider.” The gap has expanded.

Not trying to argue, but having been involved with vintage cars over 45 years, bought and sold hundreds upon hundreds, personally owned 100+, restored countless, etc I just don't see anything new, including some "wider gap" in asking prices or perceived values, but if you're convinced there is, let's go with that.

The upper side of Dino’s, Especially excellent restorations, don’t even hit the market.

Chairs and Flares are a gimmick, but one bought into many. Excellent restoration Chairs and flairs are the top of the market. Drivers are hard to come by for legitimate drivers, with needs, but can be driven for the time being.

Project cars are almost non-existent, and the prices they hover around are about the same for the driver segment.

The market has tipped back to spiders being hard to get hands on. The GT ruled that dynamic for several years. Lots of Porsche guys coming into the market. The new Dino buyer is under 60, mostly way under 60. Lots of people today there weren’t even looking a year ago. More every day, but who knows when that changes again.

The days of Dino’s lagging behind “proper” vintage v-12’s are gone. As much as I love that segment, the ship has sailed. The Dino is left standing.....

Soon, a Dino will be the selling ship for something newer, like a 90’s Mazda....

In the meantime, the Dino is HOT until it is not.

I can 100% confirm we have had a real $1m transaction for a top Dino. Try buying the Dino you saw 4 months ago for the same price today, it isn’t available.

I often wonder how some can assert this very deep pricing knowledge, that is virtually an unknown to most of us.
Only if you sold it, then of course, a moot point. It is as intense as an Agatha Christie's book, starring Peter Sellers...

Dino, is not like selling high 7 figures Ferrari, that most of the time only Italians know of. Or is it French?
Besides, Dino, albeit a great automobile, is not part of the 'dark web' or a mysterious conveyance, and it is not the endall to life.
Mind you I adore Dino, I build and remake them, know then intimately, have turned 2 sows ears, into 2 Birkins.

Private deals, sure? I will sell you my "L" series publicly, for more than that, no secret handshakes or mystery buyer / seller.
No, actually, not for sale, but now the price and source are indeed public. Very. Tell all, please...

"It is so choice, If you have the means, I would recommending picking one up"...:)
Not my words, but as ridiculous as the speculative title of this thread.

I am puzzled . People buy mid 7 figures cars on BaT, and all know who they are, so what's the big secret?
Same as at public auctions, Check out RM at Monaco, or any other place, buy a tix, and there goes the secrecy. Really?

One Million is peanuts in this world.

"I can 100% confirm we have had a real $1m transaction for a top Dino." Besides, who is we? You? Are you Dino dealing?

I am only curious as to why a car that you could cheaply, is THE car. Who cares? Yes, it is nice to have 1 or 2 or 5 or 6.
Not even THE top Dino out of over 3,000 of them.

    Regards, Alberto

And what feels like a, "We don't know the whole story" low last bid. $301K? That feels like a fire sale offer for a rough car. Do you think the whole body PPF on old paint scared some folks away, or is the market just that soft right now?

    ouch.

    So 30% off the peak?

A nice GT was fetching $500K+ not very long ago on BAT. I mean Corbani's GT got a higher bid. And that car was, well, well used.
