We have developed a loud jarring clunk when you hit a bump in the right rear, Oklahoma roads YaY!

I have ordered some shocks, anyone have any suggestions what else to replace while I am in there?
Anyone had anything similar happen? Hoping the shock is just bad.

    Thanks!

Did you use OE shocks or one of the alternatives?

Used alternative shock, couldn't justify the OEM pricing. Can't tell a difference in ride or quality.

Bolted right up, no issues with sensors.

$160 ea vs $2000 ea... nice!

I was looking at these shocks (all 4) and others as a DIY project. The local Indie shop mentioned I would have to do a ride height calibration, that I don’t see in the manual. Did you have to do any such calibration or is this typical shop BS.

I used a caliper measure the existing shock threads to the new threads before I decompressed the spring and replaced on the new shock. I have no error codes or suspension issues for a daily driver. If you were going for records around a track maybe ride height calibration is a thing.
I took the stance that if I set the new shocks up the same as the old with the coil over nuts before I put the spring on, the car wouldn't know the difference. So far so good.

Hi, do you happen to have any of those leaky OEM 247209 cores left? I'd be happy to buy them from you at a reasonable price.
