Power steering reservoir bracket flex

I just got a f430, but I found that the power steering reservoir bracket is flexible and allow the tank to move front to back a bit. But since the bracket is flexible the tank seems to hit something hard towards the front. I looks like it could be hitting one of the tank outlet tubes or the hose clamp for the lower hose.
1) Is this normal?
2) Will the tank fail over time?
