Here is the link: If she is this one, it’s a sport exhaust, but not the standard one that was delivered with the HGT2 package. It’s a optional one. @LondonParis and @Titobandito has this exhaust on their OTO. Mine has the classic sport exhaust.
Image Unavailable, Please Login This car has the factory sport exhaust. The standard exhaust tips are not double wall.
The double wall exhaust is the sport exhaust you have with the HGT2 package. At 2’46 in the video, you can see that the exhaust is not the standard one, nor the double wall exhaust. It’s an other version of the Sport Exhaust, with single wall but black on its sides (MODiS code: EXA2).
The double wall exhaust was used on the HGTS, HGTC, HGT1 (Sessanta), and HGT2. One HGTC set and one HGTS set here, with the HGT2 above. I do not have an image of an HGT1 set of tailpipes. Kind of rare. They also included the chrome/silver screens. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The first two photos are 2010 612 OTO #169390. It did not have HGT2 (but did have the ball polsihed Challenge rims for $6,000+). The Build Sheet says the exhaust is "EXA2 Sporty Exhaust Pipes." The Monroney says "Sporty Exhaust Pipes $652." If it was a "standard" exhaust I'm guessing there would not have been the $652 additional charge, but with Ferrari you never know. The third photo is 2007 612 Sessanta #157297. The Build Sheet shows it does have HGT1, as does the Monroney (for $8,039). Neither document mentions anything about the exhaust. I did not like the ride nor exhaust tone of the Sessanta with HGT1. "Comfort" on the Sessanta manettino felt like "Sport" in the non-HGT2 OTO. "Sport" in the Sessanta was too stiff for me, so in effect it had just one manettino mode for me, "Comfort." I thought the Sessanta HGT1 exhaust was really unpleasant above 3,000 rpm. I don't remember enough to compare the Sessanta below 3,000 with the OTO. The OTO exhaust did not have an abrupt increase in exhaust noise at any rpm as did the Sessanta. I know many owners like HGT2. I did not like HGT1. That's why they make chocolate and vanilla. Each to their own. Forgive for borrowing this (closest one) thread, but we might want to check our friends at BAT. A black-on-black 2010 612 OTO with 11k miles, 8 owners, and a large! recent service bill, met Reserve today, and sold for $177k.
Wow! That BaT result was something! I just drove my 612 OTO a few hundred miles this past weekend, still such an amazing tourer. I have a 2000 mile trip coming up later this spring, looking forward to it!
That End Result seems Crazy, but 612s seem to be Gaining Popularity Recently. I just bought a Non OTO Grigio Silverstone with Very Similar Interior with the Diamond Stitching, Alcantara, etc & HGTC & Carbon Ceramic Brakes with only 10K miles from the Ferrari Dealer in Michigan and I am thinking I got a Bargain at $110K Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Would love to buy a 2nd Set of these Mats if any one knows where?
