    what a Useless video.

no reason they couldn’t have recorded the conversation with art, or even an audio portion. and further no reason to not even mention what was said to art.
And to top it off, they never even said what happened to the car ultimately.
    Fail.

I’m with you on all points, but not a total fail. Hear me out. It is one-sided and goolish, feasting on another’s crisis, again, true. And like a kid chasing an ice scream truck down the street, it is in the shadow of DDE’s post today which is running the viewership meter hot already. Sour grapes, yes to all of that. But not a total fail.

It takes guts to do what Dan does, putting his life online, wins and losses, and having the courage to make a living through content and sports cars. I tease Dan and don’t agree with his take on many things but I watch his stuff. A media buyer would consider me a member of his audience. His latest video reminds everyone that EAG was/will be working on a Cali conversion. If no one cares, it probably won’t happen. If it does, in a small way, Dan made that happen just by posting a video about a Cali conversion that coulda been.

Dan has been a guest character in a Soap Opera called EAG. Like those characters, wether he is a villain or a ‘good guy’ depends on the season, and who else you like on the show.

I called NG once for a kit they were selling and I didn't know much about them at the time I had just see a few of the YouTube videos, to my surprise Dan answered the phone I could tell it was him by his voice. He gave me advice that actually went against him making money off of me....Dan is a good guy in my book.

Dan wasn't a guest character, he was an investor and cheerleader when it profited him and a "victim" when it profited him.

I have only spoken with Dan a few times mostly during covid and he seemed rather genuine. He was open to feedback and showed more than reasonable perspective. I dont think he has been shy about wanting to figure out how to monetize conversions.

Dan unknowingly was sitting next to one of my good friends at a Ferrari Club dinner. All Dan did was rag on FerrariChat how terrible of a community we were and wannabes. I guess you might be a little negative when you can't get away with spamming for free and FerrariChat users smart enough to call out your ****.

    Hi all,
Can someone give me a TL;DR?
    What I got so far

    1) Art (who has a shady history based on public records) - started the original EAG. (I'm all for second chances, by the way.)
    2) Some folks here supported Art, such as Dan (see #7 below)
    3) It blew up
    4) Somebody took over Art's old business ("New EAG")
    5) Art started another business
    6) There is conflict between the new owners of the 'new EAG' and the new business Art is starting
    7) There are 'bad feels' between old/current (i.e., Dan) supporters of Art and folks with grievances toward Art.

(correct me where I get things wrong)

    You are mostly correct.

    1. Second chances are important. Art is on is probably on his 100th chance. He has felony convictions for theft.
    2. Dan supported Art until it became clear that Art was screwing Dan.
    3. Art blew it up, no one else deserves any blame.
    4. No one took over his old business. Art lied and stole (a lot) from his former partners and lenders. Art's theft and lies resulted in assets being seized.
    5. Art has judgments against him and more than a few ongoing lawsuits. Art is still using EAG branding however his new legal entity is under his Dad's name. He already ruined his brothers credit, and then his wife, now he is going to ruin his Dad's credit.
    6. Yes there is conflict. Art is extremely difficult to work with. He lies, cheats, and steals regularly. Art is the embodiment of conflict.
    7. I don't know of any former EAG partners, associates, employees, etc, that don't have grievances towards Art. He is a horrible person.

I'm not saying these photos are terrible, but they could be a little more enticing and provocative. Did you try any shots in landscape? Maybe work with filters, try B&W for an artsy look. Either way, EAG appears to be an active company serving customers, contrary to what has been claimed here. I mean, does he even have a driver's license? I'd encourage you to keep up the good work, these visits and updates are informative. Your chances of being elected President of the EAG Alumni club I'd say are looking pretty darn good.

I've always said that the things that make a good criminal are the complete opposite of what make a good businessman. They two different mindsets just don't mesh together at all.

Lately with this incident and also some things I've seen in the Land Cruiser world I've noticed the analogy is also true within the auto world. The things that make a good mechanic/fabricator are the complete opposite of what make a good businessman, they also do not mesh.

If someone is stupid enough to send a car to Art they should know the following:
    1. He has multiple felonies
    2. His business does not have insurance
    3. Art has multiple judgments against him
    4. Art has multiple pending lawsuits
    5. All but one member of his team left
    6. He does not have a drivers license
    7. He is a thief

    Bill, he is manipulating you.

All I know is that there is more than a sizable group that are not big fans of Art. I've conversed with enough of them personally. It's not a secret, and I don't see anybody who can deny this, allies and detractors of Art alike.

Tread cautiously for folks who have not staked a position. Me? I would buy a stick from the get-go. If you want to convert something that never had a stick, I suggest waiting until the smoke clears.

Art is unique, he is a bad criminal, horrible businessman (businessboy is more accurate), and a bad tech. He is great at manipulation.

No no no...Listen, Donnie Callaway was working for Art, and then they colluded with Dan to steal a police car, but then they all ended up IN the police car, and then there was a Huracan involved and a swapped 9 speed gearbox from EGear and it had no differential.

There, no need to read these 43 pages

I sense some tension in your retort.

I mean you no harm. If you agree to serve for one year as EAG AA President (alumni association), I will simultaneously serve one year as EAG COC President (conversion owners club).

We will shepherd our colleagues through a season of announcements, appearances and frequent tomfoolery befitting the “Ferrari Americano” spirit. Joint appearances on NGS Live. Fchat charity drives. Insta collabs.

    Take my hand, Chris.
Together we’ll shift all the gears.
As EAG manipulates ... my nero Five 99.

Bill, that was not a retort, it was a statement, they are different. I don't know how you would sense tension from a list of facts.

You sent your car back to EAG?

I keep reminding you to like and subscribe to EAG’s social posts. When you get nominated for a prestigious position like EAG AA President, there is an expectation you’ll stay up to speed. Mine is one of at least two black nine nines there as far as I know, so don’t confuse mine with the one with sexy HGTE wheels. But I’d love more pics if you’re in that neighborhood, Mr. President.

I don’t think he is going to get any takers. The risk of your car disappearing for a year or two is enough before you add in all the other nonsense.

He is done with the Ferrari world, I wonder what his next fraud will be?

Which reminds me, why do all these schemes seem directed towards Ferrari owners? Is everyone else too smart to fall for them :)
