A lot of people really kick themselves on the F50.

There is a simple alternative: buy it instead of kick yourself.
I steadily followed that approach over many years, the first one joined the Bloodline Collection few years earlier and 20% cheaper than your posted example and thereafter instead of kicking myself (‘why didn’t I acquire another one earlier’), I kept buying them (even when there were multi-million cars).
This approach did not let me down over the last dozen of years. No wonder none left the collection to this date.
Worthwhile mentioning is that it was luck not shrewdness, as when I started with my first it was just for the driving excitement and thrill.
(But as the years went by, I told myself ‘hey they are even better than I thought!)
