I am NOT a fan of the white interior. I can't even think the last time I even thought about a white interior on a car, let alone a sports car. Tastes are all over the map, fortunately, so some may like it, but jeez, just seems like a weird interior choice to me. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2024-lotus-emira-4/#comments-anchor Image Unavailable, Please Login

15% premium to be first kid on block. Pretty sure these can be had for msrp or real soon and next year discounts.
I don’t get the price paid given the vig and the literal 70 cars listed on cars.com with a majority at MSRP nearly $20k lower…
BAT is its own world, many dont look further. Someone told me about a neighbour who buys several cars er month on bat, he si poker player and one of those peopel who cant handle loosing. the cars get delivered he keeps a few and flips the others out. Its like peopel with eBay collecting/buying habits/addictions. Quite possible a BAT "player" saw it, had to have it this week delivered to their home and thats al there was to it.
Or how does the Volvo dealer have so many listed for sale, when I dont even have mine yet and was very high on the list?! Oh well, thats life for non collectible, non hard to get cars. I am looking fwd to driving it, hoping for the best.
A couple of local friends have picked up theirs and they're very happy with them. There's several of them available in the local aftermarket already. What I'm hoping is that the Evora will really drop now that it's not the latest Lotus.
I have only had 4 nice days to get mine out, but so far, I am really enjoying it. I have not driven a 3 pedal in 25 years so there is some rust I am working thru......but getting better each day. I was not sure if i would keep it long term or not, but leaning that way. It is comfortable and fun to drive. I have been fortunate enough to have many nice cars (and still have 4 in the garage including this one)........and most of my employees say they think the Lotus is the best car out of all of them............(which kind of shocked me).
I can't think of any new high-end sports car I'd rather own than the Emira. None. The latest supercars are too complicated, too disconnected, and have more power than I need. The Emira is like a breath of fresh air in that segment -- simple, manual, and drop-dead gorgeous.
I wish the Emira had a more bespoke engine. In that respect, it's almost like a baby Pagani. Which isn't necessarily all that bad of a thing.
I don't know if anyone here had the opportunity, but last year I took my father and we paid Lotus a visit in Hethel all the way from London (he worships the Esprit) Got to do a full factory tour, see Emiras on the line, the heritage building with the F1 cars, it was incredible and easily surpassed our expectations Highly highly recommend for anyone passionate about the brand
We have one incoming as well. Dark verde over tan, black pack and black wheels. Regular suspension and automatic. We decided to go with gentleman spec this time. No more 3 pedals for me, lol. Because it's automatic, it will be here in the summer instead, after all the manual first.
Asking the impossible to predict question: What model year is going to be the sweet spot - (not wait too long, not pull the trigger too soon for a manual)? I'm thinking 2026- time to fix any issues that develop and time to see if they have any upgraded options, but still able to get a manual
