On the 360, you have access to the cage retainers if you pull the aluminum surround off. No need to remove the tabs. Through the holes where the window switches are.

I bought 2 of these units for my air cooled Porsche's. I thought it was going to look too modern, but it actually blends well. No knobs keeps it fairly clean. Got one hooked up today and I love it. Wireless CarPlay connects easily and sound quality is good. Maps on the screen were easily discernible, I thought the screen would be too small but its good. Happy with the purchase and thanks for the recommendations.

I have my first one installed in my Scud and ordered a second for my Maranello. Looks great and works great!

If someone can figure out how to modify the start up screen it would be completely awesome!

Circling back on the issue I am having (there's also another member who has the same issue), and it appears the issue is the gain setting on the amp (Scuderia Audio). Mike at Scuderia Audio was very helpful and suggested to turn down the gain on the amp that controls the "highs". Did that and the white noise went down to almost unnoticeable. Mike also suggested to use the RCA outs on the head unit and connect to the RCA inputs on the Scuderia Audio amp to further fine tune the sound. I ordered the cables and will try that in a couple of days.

I have the same setup (360). RCA from deck to amp. I had to use 90 degree cables at the amp side to fit in the cage. Two foot RCA were a perfect fit.

Used these to come off the amp:

I use the RCA inputs on the amp and turning the gain down helped. I’m going to pick up some higher quality cables as well.

Is it possible you guys should be using the harness adapter with the RCA connections?

I go straight from the deck to the amp. Same setup I had with my pioneer fold out unit - which had no noise. Maybe expecting too much for $140

What’s the verdict on leaving the GPS antenna unplugged to limit chances of rattles?

Is anyone using the usb cable to charge phones?

I am using the GPS adapter for the factory GPS antenna which was posted earlier. Seems to pick up satellites very well.

Is the box on the left a parking switch?

Does this look accurate? Why does the brown wire then show 2A fuse if gnd input? Are we supposed to add a fuse?

It should be a ground. Comes from the ground side of the bulb but I agree it almost appears to be 12v. I have mine grounded and it works fine.

I don’t think you need a fuse. At least not if you’re just grounding it out and not actually tapping into the brake lines.

Just make sure you don’t use the pink front camera wire. I think that outputs power…
