    On a Dino 246GTS what is the correct black color to use to paint the targa top?
    Gloss black, semi-gloss black, flat black?......

    That's incorrect. The 308 GTS had a vinyl covering on it's targa roof but the targa panel on 246 GTS was painted satin black from the factory. The switch to vinyl on the 308 was likely down to the durability of the satin black painted finish. The vinyl stands up better to repeated handling/wear.
